Good call , takes heart to make that call after trying to bluff when he thought you were bluffing.

Probably thought you had A9 or AJ and could suck out a 3 outer on turn or river.

I wouldve made that call too , but the difference is I wouldnt be in that situation in the first place :)

Anyway if you say had A9 or AJ then his Q was live.

This would give him 15 outs to improve on turn

8888 TTTT QQQ KKKK however we know Q was not going to help him but he did not know this so therefore .

He had 15 outs to improve on turn still an easy call.

If he gets non club 8 T or K he has 7 outs to win
If he gets a club 8 T or K he has 14 outs to win
If he gets a club he has 11 outs to win

Easiest call he ever made .

Im trying to explain why the idiot called. Im the only person who has given a rational explaination of how this guy can justify making the call after he bluffed 1500 chips on the flop.

If you have a better theory then please feel free to correct my post .

And I did say : I wouldve made that call too , but the difference is I wouldnt be in that situation in the first place

even with the enormous pot odds the call is so horrible that it doesn't matter if you aren't in that spot in the first place. you are still a fish.

You have interesting theory for that call..

My theory is

1. He just had to go to the party. His friends were waiting for him and and he needed to get busto
2. He is total donk and he doesnt really care about whats going on.
3. Russian Hackers

Of course probably you are right, he check/minraised bluffed and then he counted his equity against opps range and made the correct call.

That guy is no fish , a fish is loose pre flop / passive after flop.

Im thinking hes more of a maniac making a back door draw semi bluff and then the -EV calls like that.
