Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$250/$500 No-Limit Hold'em (4 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BU$4245.00:///////;SB(Hero)$3800.00:///////;BB$3235.00:///////;CO$2220.00:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is SB with K:h, A:s.
CO folds, BU raises to $4,245.00(All-In), Hero calls $3,550.00(All-In), BB folds.

Flop: ($8545) J:s, A:h, 5:s (2 players)

Turn: ($8545) 4:h (2 players)

River: ($8545) 8:c (2 players)

Final Pot: $8545.

Villain is a winning regular who I expect to be pushing pretty widely in this spot. Nash gives AKs+ for a call here. Can I loosen my range with my reads and if so, by how much?
Thanks

mh i don´t want to sound rude but is there any particular reason you don´t use sngwiz for this?
just look up which range he has to push that a call with AKo becomes +EV for you, look at the range and decide if you think that he is pushing that wide...
i don´t have sngwiz here but i will look it up when i´m home :)
sucks that CO is kinda short though ;)

its about -0.5% for every range wider then 40% so it's -$EV against every shoverange.. with AKs it's exactly neutral $EV wise for everything wider then 40%

Just a nasty fold, there is no real way out here.

Not rude at all, but just that I don't have Wiz yet.
Thanks for advice, guys.

ah ok. sngwiz has a free trial btw. :)
and if you have the proper bankroll to play 36s you should definatly think about buying sngwiz... it´s worth it´s money :)

Quite right - noted. It's more PC stability issues rather than unwillingness to spend the $, but I will get there soon enough.

ah ok:
i looked it up and kinda as expected it´s -EV fo every pushing range.

@viewer:
mh did you adjust BB´s overcalling range when you calculated AKs?
