Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.8 by www.pokerstrategy.cc.

Preflop: Hero is SB with J♥, J♣
MP1 raises to $1,00, MP2 folds, MP3 calls $1,00, 2 folds, Hero calls $0,90, BB raises to $3,00, MP1 calls $2,00, MP3 calls $2,00, Hero calls $2,00.

Flop: ($12,00) Q♥, 9♠, 9♥ (4 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $3, MP1 folds, MP3 calls $3,00, Hero raises to $2,24 (All-In).

Turn: ($20,24) 8♠ (2 players)
BB bets $13, MP3 folds.

River: ($33,24) 8♦

Final Pot: $33,24

First I thought that I should go all-in but then I decided to call, what was my first mistake. Then BB made 3x re-raise and I put him aces or kings. Strangely both players called and my pot odds were very good even against aces or kings. So I decided to see the flop, which wasn´t the best, but I thought, that I might have 3-4 outs (2 jacks, and backdoor straight and flush draws)- and finally then I went all-in. In the end if I would gone all-in pre-flop then BB would isolate me and made at least 10$ re-raise, this way I managed to get maximum out of the other two players:).

And why I didn´t go all-in, because MP1 seemed tight and MP3 coldcall wasn´t also so nice, so I afraid already queens+ or AK and I was willing to give the pot away, if A, K, or Q would come to the flop.

If MP1 is tight and you put him on QQ, then you should fold.
But against AQ a raise is called for. Just calling means you play your Jacks for set value, but you need I big stack to do so.

I am not too good, but the call seems bad to me. Raise or fold.

Hi Kaitz20!

I think you should move all-in preflop. A call doesn't make sense because you cannot call for setvalue and too often you will see A, K, Q coming up on the flop.

Good luck at the tables!

After 3 bet and being a SSS player you don't get the odds for setmining
