[Closed] JJ - a lot of action

I think it depends on your reads of the players.
You are essentially betting against the possibility that plays have a hand that can beat you of which there arent that many.

AA, QQ, AT, AQ, AJ.

Personally I find maniacs hard to read as I often fall into the trap of believeing they dont have enough to beat me.

Frankly Im surprised there was this much action from both of them especially as they only hit their straight on the right and all the rest are essentially semi-bluffs.

Conclusion: I think you played it right, set J is a strong hand and with six outs to make your full house from the flop I think you had more than enough pot odds to play out.

well with your reads the turn 3-bet is good. MP3 never has you beat and UTG is just an idiot (don´t post results though).
the river still looks overplayed to me but against such an uber-maniac it might even be ok?! i guess bet/call river is fine...
other opinions?

At that moment I was 100% sure i have the best hand. At this table, before this hand, i played more then 100 hands, and the guy that was UTG1 was leading the action in almost every hand. I think he lost 200-300 BBs before we played this hand. I simply noticed that he's capable of playing like this with nothing but air. So, when I improved to a full house at the turn, I knew that there are many hands that beats me, but i still decided to go all the way, regardless of anything. I simply had a strong hand. I admit i was kinda worried when he 3-bet the river, but, he would do that with any Ax hand, also there was a big possibility that he made a flush.

And the most important thing, I simply had the feeling that the pot is mine. I never felt something like that before. I just knew it, can't explain how. I know it's stupid to base your play on your instincts, but this time, that's what i did.
