Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$250/$500 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

Known players:
[tg]CO$21639.00:///////;BU$5986.00:///////;SB$8099.00:///////;BB(Hero)$2986.00:///////;MP3$1790.00:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BB with J:d, Q:s.
MP3 raises to $1,790.00(All-In), CO raises to $3,500.00, 3 folds.

When I got the hand I thought: I'm all in.
But after the shorty got called, I decided to fold.

But I realized after that if the shorty didn't win, I'd be 4th place anyway...

Do you call this?

Hi all,

I'd fold here without too much thought into payout structures, etc. Because for this spot our equity against their ranges is way too low (most importantly, vs CO's range we're a huge dog) and we've only put in 1/6th of our stack preflop.
