well not repping a flush so much as saying it's possible I;ve hit the flush, so that he only considers raising with something equally good or better. I hope to get calls from lower pockets, since the bet isn't too big. I don't think anything better than me will fold, but I don't want to be faced with a biggish bet on this board when I could easily have the best hand, but still find it difficult to call pot with two overcards and a flush possibility on the board..

and regarding the fold on flop, it's a low paired board so I also want to see for future what he to expect. If he does this, will he make a turn bet? Will he check behind turn? etc etc. The call is more about finding information. The guy was a regular on a couple of tables so I think it's worth checking it out. Now I know that he is capable of this play, and becomes passive on turn if he doesn't hit his cards, which means I can profitably play against him OOP after the flop... alright it's one hand, but still gives us an idea...

dont see reason for him to bluf raise hand with sd value. And if he does so he's not calling anyway cos your range is strong.

Well even though it would be nice to find out what he raises you with I would fold to the flopraise.
The problem is if he bets a card like the 9 you have to fold.
You have gained zero information.
He could've bluffed it, he could've had a flush - you'll never know.
And a 6 is very well in his range.

You don't do too good against it and if he's bluffraising he will likely continue betting on all and all T+ cards, so you'll end up making lots of mistakes.

As played there is absolutely no sense in betting so small on the river, either bet big to get him to fold JJ+ or check and see what he does (hoping to catch bluffs).
