Strong hand to 3-bet preflop.

I doubt you have overcards on A high flop ^^ And you don't have much of a backdoors. You practically must hit a T or a spade on turn (he hits T of spades, go figure). Since he checks behind turn - easy bet on any river card.

About check/raising turn - would you really raise his pot bet there with no reads? -EV IMO

Thought process behind the c/r: Ofc I would c/r without reads, i'm a fish I don't have a made hand so I want to take it down right there if he ships it / calls i'm obv beat.. Although if he bets turn i'm probably beat so my c/r would be bad, I don't know

with no reads there's no way this is an "easy float" .
- it's a pot bet
- you are OOP
- it's a paired board so you don't have that much backdoor equity.
If he bets the turn he is usually strong thus I don't like c/raise , since I don't think he second barrells too light here so the idea of the OOP float would be c/c flop c/f turn bet river.

On a super dry flop like this, even oop you never consider it an easy float? (my thoughts are probably just spewed but I can't learn unless I try to discuss it )

The times he actually has it and doesn't have it pays to float here most of the time with a hand like mine? If he cbets / gives up on turn, I can usually scoop it on the river, if he fires flop & turn I can usually find a fold..

My C/R is probably bad in general here, but I had a feeling/small read that this was a good spot to bluff his turn bet.

it's possible to float but readless is not an "easy" float. also there's no need to do it since you describe him as a donk anyway
