hm interesting hand. he is loose but with 2.3 af not a maniac

so what could he have ? A7, 77, i think he would have capped AK preflop. i don´t think he would cap AQ or AJ on the turn (maybe he would have capped it preflop also)
i´m not sure about this. check/call is a bit weak so i would play bet/call i guess.
i don´t like a check/raise because i would hate to get a 3-bet

Hmm me might have 77, A7, A3 or K7. (He is very loose preflop and we raise K7 for example only one position later, same with A3.)

Additionally we should not forget that he might cap for a freesd with AQ or AJ. (Unlikely but possible.)

I don't think that he will raise A7, A3 or K7 again on the river but he will raise 77 for sure. So only better hands will raise us. If we check he will bet all hands except AJ. He will call all hands to a check/raise and 3-bets 77.

So now the question is check/call or check/raise?

I like check/raise more because there are more hands we beat than he will beat us with.

Is that logical?

hm you are right. i forgot A3 and K7

so imho check/raise is much better than bet/call.
check/call is way too weak i think.

I think check/call. He has less worse hand but not more better.

Should be again logical if I didn't made a fault.

If villain held 77, wouldn't he just call the turn 3-bet with the plan to raise a river bet? Or doesn't that make sense?

Depends on villian. Without further reads imo impossible to say something about that.

Hard to say like bobbel mentioned. But that only makes our hand better.
