0.1/0.2 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant 0.69 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A♦, A♥. MP2 posts a blind of $0.10.
3 folds, MP2 checks, Hero raises, CO 3-bets, 3 folds, MP2 calls, Hero caps, CO , MP2 calls, Hero calls.

I was obviously happy to CAP with the aces preflop against 2 opponents, one of them just passively calling.
Flop: (16.50 SB) 3♠, K♠, 9♠ (3 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets, CO raises, MP2 folds, Hero calls.

Wasn't the flop I wanted but I decided to make a continuation bet to see where I stand and eventually push them out of the hand if they didn't hit a flush or a draw. After the raise from CO MP2 folds and we are heads up. There shouldn't be many better hands here considering the preflop action - the way I see it he could make a sensible 3-bet preflop with kings, nines or AJ+ of spades to be ahead. I wonder if I should have 3-bet the flop.
Turn: (10.25 BB) 6♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

My plan after I didn't 3-bet the flop was to simply call him down to the showdawn if there is not another spade on the board.
River: (12.25 BB) Q♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14.25 BB

Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows a pair of aces (Ad Ah)
CO shows a flush, king high (7s 4s)

CO wins with a flush, king high (7s 4s)

So the question is should I have 3-bet the flop here or play it as I did?

hi awesomeo
oop on the flop it´s standard to 3-bet. he could have a bunch of weaker made hands or draws and you don´t want to see a check behind on the turn

What if awesomeo would've 3betted and CO capped ? Calldown or fold flop ?

you would have to call down as long as the board doesn´t get a lot worse.
he could still have KQ, AK (maybe with flushdraws) or just the single A :spade:
