Yes your bf would be most welcome.
We would strongly recommend that you contact the customer support team however and let them know so that they don't just assume this is a multiple application from just 1 person.
Both of you will have to submit ID documentation to confirm your identities.
With regards to playing on the same platform. Different platforms treat this slightly different, so it's best to contact your own platform to check the situation. It does however go without saying that you will be unable to play in the same tournament/cash table together.
