Originally went for a steal, but am I big enough stacked/is he short enough for me to consider a call here? I am getting about 2:1 on my money.

In this situation i would call, his all-in. I would only hope that i am not dominated, but getting 2:1 odds imo is good enough for a call here. There are a lot of hands he could be pushing w/ considering he has less that 10bb left. And even if you lose you are still in a good situation with you remaining chips.

I agree, if you are going to raise into the short BB, then you have to call off for the odds once he pushes.

I'm not sure how BB can push 1045 chips when his stack is only 895 to start with, but even if it is possible, you have 675 to call, so better than 2:1, and easy call.

KJo steal is pretty loose from this position...

This and I'm fine with the steal as long as your opponents are somewhat tight. We're nearing the money as one of the bigger stacks, I think fold equity is quite high.
