Somehow it seems to me that everybody who is writing a blog, manages to climb up the limits and profit ofcourse
First of all, englih is not my native language so there is going to be a few mistakes.
Poker career so far (tl;dr):
A friend of mine introduced me to poker few years ago when he came back from Vegas with a set of chips. First poker game I ever played (s'n'g with 7 friends, all noobs) I won. We started to play regularly, once a week. But I wanted to play more so I registered on Pokerstars. No deposit, just playmoney. In those games (with my friends and playmoney) I won here and there and manage not to lose, in fact, I was winning some. So I decided to start online, deposited 50$ and went straight to 0.5/1$ cash game (had no idea about BRM, variance,...). After few hands, got dealt 7d8d on the BB. One raiser and a caller and i call, flop brings 4 5 6 with 2 diamonds, there are some bets and raises and I scoop a 120$ pot. „Wow, online poker is easy“ i thought. „I just won 70$ in few minutes i played“. Needless to say, i lost it all next few hours. I wanted to deposit more and try the type of poker I played with my friends, Sngs. Somehow, i stumbled upon pokerstrategy.com and got my 50$ bonus on Full Tilt. Sngs went good, got my roll up to 700$ with playing sngs and bonuswhoring, only to lose 400$ on roulette table in one night. I was so pissed at myself, withdraw the 300$ i had left and decided i wont play anymore ( i was on monkeytilt ). For a month, poker was always on my mind and all week I was waiting for Friday to play with my friends. Next 50$ deposit was tilted off very fast, after getting it to around 100$. And this time i told myself no deposits anymore, you tilt hard, this is not a game for you. Few months after got an e-mail from pokerstrategy that I can get another 50$. Some more bonuses from other sites, I get i up to 400$, enter 10 5$ sngs, not a single cash, monkeytilt again, in rage i click withdrawal button and withdraw 250$ (left 50$ in case i would like to play again). Didn't play next few months, spent 30$ on buying Diablo 2 items and had 20$ left. A month ago I was bored and entered 5 1$ sngs. Won 3 of them and finished 2nd in other one. So I joined more and more, took a shot at 3$'s and now I'm on 160$. But, somehow, i started to hate sngs. I have 20% ROI on 3's but i cant put in as much volume as i want, since i rarely have 2+ hours daily to play. And with 150-200 sngs a month, it will take ages to earn some $$$.
Cliffnotes: -tilt hard
-withdraw around 500$ and 20$ left
-grinded from 20$ to 160$ in 2 weeks in 3$ sngs
You must be thinkig now how is this a FL blog. Well, i decided to play exclusively FL FR now. With my 160$ roll i'll start at 0.10/.20 just to learn those charts and get a feeling for FL. Slowly i'll ad some 0.25/0.50 tables. For now I'm 3-4 tabling and I hope i'll manage to get rid of tilting (some advice would be nice).
So far I'm breakeven after 1600 hands, but some of them are ugly. AA getting cracked by 44 with flush on river, AA<1010 str8 on river and so on...
Got my elephant licence but fulltilt says that its prohibited so I would like to know do you guys still use it when playing?
So, current BR: 161$
Wont set any goals yet, untill I see how it goes.
Only goal for now is to stop those tiltsssss!!
Also, I would like someone kind enough to look at my stats (i'll send it via PM) and points me in right direction.
Oh and, God, they play bad
