What was the answer ?

I would push here, althought CO is showing a lot of strenght (set?).
But he has TT , JJ, or some other PPs are also in his range. He is not calling every time with 33, 44, 66 also preflop (although he might be inclined to do so here, because of the fish).
His call on flop with 99-JJ (QQ) is reasonable, because you have here a lot of hands, that didnt hit (AK, AQ, some other hands).

Maybe he expects in a 3bet flop, that you will come over the top aswel.. which can make he decide to coldcall sets. But will he call your squeeze with 33,44,66 OOP? Will be hard to extract value if he hits.

I agree with kosmonaut he will call 99-JJ(QQ).

So yeah what was the answer?

My answer was to shove the flop.
BBs range is wide and CO would probably shove any strong hand himself because there are a lot of scarecards and a call of him would looks strong anyway.

So I concluded COs call only makes sense with nut-FDs since he can lure us into the pot by calling.
