[Closed] Sunglasses in poker..cheating or no

They just don't like it. Since they don't show any tells and fish do.

Wearing sunglasses for any other purposes than what they were made for is ridiculous. Every time I see someone wear sunglasses at pokertables and the lights are not extremly bright or something I just think that they are either nits, tourists who've never played before or nerdy TAGfishes

But this is just my opinion of cource...

IT'S NOT BECAUSE THEY HIDE THE EYES, IT'S BECAUSE THEY CAN BE SPECIALLY COATED TO SEE INVISIBLE INK, THUS MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO CHEAT BY MARKING CARDS.

so if someone designs something with a particular use in mind, you get one of these things and become aware of another possible use for this thing, then you're not allowed to use it for this new use?

if you are in a car (designed for driving), you get out of the car in the middle of a huge open space that's completely flat with no physical objects on it except for you, air and the car, you find out that the car has somehow become locked and your keys have vanished, your left leg falls off, and if you believe that touching the ground with anything but shoes will result in your cousin exploding, and you have a phobia of jumping, then are you saying that you mustn't lean against the car, using it as somethnig to lean against instead of something to drive? no? aHA! i have proverd my point!

Treating sunglasses as cheating is moronic. If I don't want a player to know I'm observing him, I'll put on sunglasses, it doesn't say anywhere in the rules that my eyes have to be visible to all players. But there's always someone who comes along and starts bitching about it with the same animosity that cheaters get.

if sunglasses are cheating then fukin buy a sunglass and start cheating as the others, really retarded idea to say its a cheat..make it a rule then, u must play with sunglass..point

Some people give off "tells" with their eyes, for whatever reason it may be but I guess there is a lot of people out there that are just afraid of giving any inch to their opponent.

I don't really care about sunglasses in tournaments because the decks are changed frequently but I am a bit wary at underground games.

I always wear my sunglasses. Mainly because they are prescription and they help me see but also to prevent tells and avoid being seen looking at others tells.

Be careful though sunglasses can reflect you cards!
