Sorry, didn't mean it like that, I meant the whole hand in it's self is a nh.

But yes, TBH it's poorly played. Standard raise/get it in line is obviously the right way to play it.

@Xiven, we should raise more aggressively to prevent situations like this, on this limit these 2 players are more than likely going broke every time with the both two pairs. but yeah, raise more.

... You guys don't know how to play poker...

First of all you min raise because you have the nuts and you always slowplay the nuts no matter what. I would wait for the third diamond to come or for the board to pair. Then I would raise to get it in against a flush or a full house. Another plus side to this is you can then post the hand on a forum such as pokerstrategy. You can call the thread something like "straight vs flush BAD LUCK" or "Well that was a disappointment". People will undoubtedly call you an idiot for playing so bad but you know better and can then tell them off and tell them to learn how to play poker.

And how does this relate to the hand in any way? I mean, except for the minraise that eventually resulted in OP getting it in with the nuts on the flop? Seriously, tone down your arrogance.

it would be a real disappointment if of them had hit a boat and u didnt get anything

At least you've split the pot, could be worse.
