was this just a crazy play on my behalf and i got lucky, or could it be considered a good play?

Preflop you can play this way when you know your opponent is isoraising wide against the fish limper. You will be OOP for the rest of the hand if he calls, and your problem is a flop like this, where he can easily have AK.

I would bet/fold the flop.

As played, you obviously got lucky.


if MP2 is not total nit, then your play is fine
I think you can also bet and get it all-in on the flop
