Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.1/$0.2 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K:c, A:d.
4 folds, Hero raises, MP3 folds, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (6.5 SB) K:s, 6:s, 8:d (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, BB folds.

Turn: (4.25 BB) 2:c (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero 3-Bets, CO calls.

River: (10.25 BB) 4:h (2 players)
Hero bets, CO folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: 10.25 BB.

CO stats: 15/7/1.5/70 (VPIP/PFR/AF/Hands)

Turn card is a blank, but CO raises me. With COs range either slowplaying a set (or even hit on the turn) or weaker kings/flush draw (doesn't believe that I have a king?). I figure that CO will cap if he has a set, so I 3-bet, and he simply calls which leads me to believe the latter. River bet causes CO to fold.

His raise is pretty strong as a raise with a draw makes not a lot sense. But your hand should be strong enough to 3-bet here so - well played. :)

Hi there.

In my view he just tried to represent set. As turn is blank, there is no other options. That raise on turn maybe just pure bluff.
3bet is nice.

As played bet river aswell.

well played!

Hi!

Your thinking is false. If you think he either has air or a set then 3betting is a mistake. You will only make him continue better hands but will get him to fold air.

But...there is not just sets and air. I see him playing this with any Kx,sometimes FD,... where 3bet is for value
