PLO50 HU double suited ace against agressive 3better

Hi, I'm a fairly new PLO HU player and I'm not sure if I played this hand correctly. My opponent has a 40% 3-bet over 47 hands so far.

He 3-bet's me again, Here I have a decent holding so I guess calling is not a problem. My double suited hand that is semi-connected and one ace plays fairly well against an aggressive opponent as this.

FLOP ($9) 5♣ J♦ A♠

bets $8, Hero calls $8

Ofcourse he c-bets here, it's an A high fairly dry flop with an ace. He is representing pocket aces, but he needs to have the case 2 aces for that, so I decide to float.. He should slow down on the turn if he really didn't hit that much and my ace might be good already and if not, I still have some backdoor draws.

TURN ($25) 5♣ J♦ A♠ 6♦

bets $22, Hero raises to $65.05 (AI), calls $43.05

On this turn, I hit my 2 pair, flushdraw and ISD. Despite his bet, I really expect to be good here a lot of the times so I decided to ship it in with a lot of equity.

Is my way of thinking somewhat correct in this hand? It's not a very standard play I would make but seeing he is so agressive this felt right to me at the time of playing.

Looks standard against a super aggressive villain, nice hand
I think his 40% 3-bet justifies your ship on the turn, he could be having alot of worse made hands/draws.

Pretty Standard, with that high 3-bet perc. you could even think about 4-betting, your hand is strong enough against his range

what if his 3bet were lower, say 10%, the sample here is still very small so we can't be sure.

@ hand: i play it the same and i dont think u can play it any differently. y. 4b would be an option, but we are not sooo deep, i think i much rather call here as u did. i also ship turn.

would be a bit more difficult vs 10% 3b range than vs 40%. 10%3b range has almost exclusively AA**, KK** and strong ds rundowns as well as strong ds highcard hands like AKQ9 ds. his 2nd barrel range thenhas eihter top2, or KQT9 with diamonds.

but here, i think u beat so many 789T, A5**, 345A, QT** diamonds combos, that u just need to ship t in.

anyway, from my hu plo experience. thats not a spot u can play any different even vs lower 3b range. money is coming from other spot than this one. he seems to also have a hand to go with but foldng is not an option.

money is coming from having tilting opponents and playing super deeeeeep. :f_love:

Hi,

i do play PLO HU.
I really would 4bet here.
DS with some connectedness against a loose 3better, stacksizes are good too.

As played, nh.
Should be default the best line.
