Preflop: Hero is BU with J:c, T:s.
6 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, SB folds, BB calls $0.15.

Flop: ($0.42) 7:d, Q:s, Q:c (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($0.42) T:d (2 players)
BB bets $0.30, Hero raises to $0.75, BB calls $0.45.

River: ($1.92) 4:d (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.00, BB calls $1.00.

Final Pot: $3.92.
Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, queens and tens(J:c T:s).
BB shows two pairs, queens and jacks(J:s J:d).

BB wins with two pairs, queens and jacks(J:s J:d).

His bet on the turn felt like a cont bet that he would fold to resistance, and I bet the river thinking he may only a 7 or might be scared off by the 3rd diamond.

Should I have played it differently?

Your hand isn't worse a raise on the turn.

Vilain could have an Overpair, a slowplayed Q, or a T with better kicker.

I think i calldown his bets here.

This. Raising the turn makes no sense and opens up bad variations against aggro people even if you happen to be ahead. River isn't worth a valuebet either as played.
