Even in SH, I fold PRE 95% of the time.

- You are OOP.
- KJ is not the hand you want to play in multiway-pot.
- you are potentially dominated. If you don´t hit at least two pair or OESD on flop, the only thing you have is negative implied odds. Check the silver article "PREFLOP - When somebody raised in front of you" - similar situation is well described there for 6-handed table. I recently decided to read all the articles in BSS once more and there is many wisdom in them if you are already experienced player like you. Makes a lot of sense to review strategy articles once more.

Pretty understandable. Just don´t get to these situations by mistakes pre.

(and if you really can´t help yourself PRE and you need to see that flop - as played - then fold it on flop. I see c/f mandatory on this flop. Continuing with this hand is imo overplayed/spewy and only has negative implied odds. Don´t play back on him just because he looks aggressive / fishy. Your hand is not good for it, give him some credit when betting to multiple-way hand on flop.)

- there's a ton of dead money in the pot already

If you think he's too tight to squeeze +EV I'd also rather fold than call given you're OOP.

As played lead out for something close to potsize imo. Once you check a c/f is probably the best option as virtually any turn will give you trouble if someone bets, even if you hit a J you can't be sure if someone has a set, at least it feels bad to stack off.
