I'd like someone to explain to me in depth, what players on this site mean by "crushing" a limit.
I understand on every level, one will take losses and bad beats on all limits... So what is crushing a limit? I have my own thoughts on what it means, but I'd like to know what others man by this statement.

No it doesnt. somone winning at 1bb(PT3)/100 or 2bb(PT3)/100 isnt crushing there limit....
Crushing is like 5bb(PT3)/100+ from NL50+
NL25 and below, crushing is like 7or8bb(PT3)/100+

Hmm ya, 3 is crushing, 2 is almost crushing 
So when you're all talking about 2-3BB/100... You mean you should be up by 2-3BB every 100 hands?
And what is PT3?

Indeed, i was reffering to NL though. Just making the point that winning at 1or2bb/100 isnt crushing in that type of poker. Cos somone said "winning" is crushing.

So how long must a player be claiming these 2-3BB/100 to succeed in crushing a limit? I'm guessing its personally up to that person how comfortable they feel, but as a generally opinion amongst others?
As then at the moment, I'm looking to make $.2 every 100 hands, as I play NL.10... I generally sit down with 100BB and try and find a raising oppourtunity to steal a betting round to cover my next blind payments... If players lay down. Lol.

Sample size: 196000+
Win Rates (bb/100): 10.07 for NL5 fr; 11.02 for NL5 6max; 10.23 for NL10 FR. I 4-table/6 table at most, though, so maybe less tables makes a difference.
As to the question as to when you know you're crushing a limit; it's when the serial-limpers leave after being raised for the millionth time in an hour (or try to adapt by playing back at you...badly). Or the reg who loves to RR in position leaves beause you play back at them 5 times in a row (and RR them in pos :)) and they run out of ideas. It's when you sit at a table and can - after some play - raise atc virtually any pos and the table will fold all but the nuts because you OWN them! Lol.
Simply put, you're crushing your limit when the regs/nits don't want to play you anymore and you KNOW you're outplaying them. This has nothing to do with whether you are winning at the time or not.I love it. And I used to be so scared of the nits until I came to this site. 
I've prob missed somethings out but that's roughly my take on it. Gl.
It also depends on how many tables you're playing. For example if you're 24 tabling at 2BB/100 over a huge samplesize on nl100+ you're making potentially 6 figures a year.
Personally I use a sample size of 100k hands but if you played HU you could get by with less.

No, if you crush a limit you are good and not just lucky. So all the other players respect you on the tables.
You all talk about sample sizes and such.
Is there any programs I can use to collect data of hands to come across my own sample groups?
I've been playing since the beginning of July without using software... However, I hear about it alot on these forums and the high stakers seem to use them and praise them. I guess it's about time I get ahold of some of this software so I can start accumulating my own data to read and to learn from =].
