seems pretty standard to me. the utg openlimp with 12bb smells a bit like a trap but it's a $1-Tourney, so the probability of him limping random junk is easily high enough to justify the push

I agree.

You have 6BB and need to find good spots to collect chips and get it in as good as you can.
You simply cant afford to wait longer, this spot is clearly good enough so ship it.
