I playing alot of sng's and came across this situation against a loose player. I havent played a hand at all until this hand.

What would you do? I folded but felt i was marginally stronger than this guy.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J:s, A:d.
Hero raises to $200.00, 2 folds, BU raises to $1,115.00(All-In), 3 folds, 2 folds, Hero folds, BU gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $275.

2 things. #1 raising to 4x the BB at this blind level is too much. 3x raise preflop.

#2 Open raising AJos is fine in MP but you do not have the odds to call a reshove in this case.

Even though you know this guy may be worse than you his range still includes pairs and better aces
and if he is pushing into the blinds to act and over your raise I think his range has you beat.

Thanks for the reply, i agree with you. I think that my raise was way too high and in retrospect i played that hand very badly.

I ended up having my pockets aces crushed by the same player with pockets 4's..lol..

Raised again with 4 times the blind and got shoved...i snapped called..lol..out!

R/f is best here. Raise to 125-150. The bigger someone raises the happier I am to just ship it in to make them fold :P.,
