Good spot to raise preflop with JJ.

Anyway in flop bet-call (hand needs protection) is best line or check-raise if MP1 is likely to make cbet. MP1 can raise probably at least with draws, 8x and overpairs.

Its hard to raise preflop because of your stack...
you have to little to raise and to much to push..

with 4bb less it would be an easy shove preflop..

with this stack if you raise you should to like 350-400 and if you get called you will be OOP and mostly there will be overcards on the flop....where you would have to play check/fold

if you get reraised you should fold too...

so if you raise and have to fold you remain with 950-1000chips

I think calling its the best play..

postflop....I would play it the same

Heh actually I somehow misread (or "misthought") villain position earlier... Call is better versus this early open raise.

Preflop is a tough spot. Like already mentioned stack sizes are kinda awkward here, playing JJ in a 3bet pot OOP is no fun in t50 blind level. If he made it 150 you could have just shoved, but since he minraise your risk/reward ratio is not very good. I'd 3bet large to like 400-500 with loose reads on MP1 and pretty much never fold after afterwards, not to a 4bet and not on the flop. As a default I think calling is fine, especially when you don't have much of a read on MP1 cuz he did not step out of line so far.

On the flop I think either bet/calling or c/r are valid options, depending on your perception of MP1's cbet tendencies.
