I'm still flipping with the donk.

Notes: (I kind of stopped noting because he is just a spew-box.)
ca/4-bet 64s
open shove 55,A9o
5x r/ca 24s

Stats: 65/57 AFq: 54 142
Cbet: 88 SD: 53 W$SD: 42

$0.50/$1 No Limit Holdem
6 Players
Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG VegasOne1 ($57.15)
UTG+1 Hero ($31.55)
CO Best Hand v1 ($53)
BTN david44ever ($75.45)
SB doomlance ($59.80)
BB crowz ($105.30)

Pre-Flop: ($1.50, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1 7♠ A♦
1 fold, Hero raises to $3.50, 3 folds, crowz raises to $6, $2.5 to Hero ($28.05)?

anything other than folding A7o from UTG+1 in a 6max game is pure spew not matter the opponent.

your strategy with 40bb should be playing strong-premimum hands. opening A7o from UTG1 is by far out of line. fold pf.
Think I saw him just 3bet jam over your opens so far so I'll give him credit for min 3betting and fold.

True, but It's 6max and the table is super-nit except for this maniac guy...
And he was 3-betting all kinds of trash

I'm playing loose aggressive style in a 6max game and I'm folding A7o from MP all day long...
You wouldn't be happy flopping TP against those guys, especially when u have 30bb and can't really get away when you do it.

I mean to sound rude but how can you not fold TP vs these guys.....they are "that" bad.

lol, so basically what are you trying to do pf when you open raise, steal the blinds?

I want to get HU with him.
He is basically calling his whole range.

I can see some merit in widening your openraising range when a big fish (on whom you have reads) is in the bb - you are targetting that player.

That said, I still wouldn't play such an easily dominated Ace. If he calls his entire range, he also calls A9 etc and it's difficult to get away from tp with a small stack.

So I rather play QJs vs this bb - same idea: you try to get the bad player to make post flop mistakes.

Now, once you get 3bet, you have to fold imo - shipping is so hight variance if he doesn't fold. You're not ahead of any calling range so you ship for Feq alone and fish never fold.

FYP and +1.

But first and foremost this:

is the reason for not raising. You're flipping with the donk. It's 0EV minus rake to raise the hand and there are 3 other players behind you that can easily wake up with a hand (not even counting the times they call A9s+ IP and bluff you or even stack you on the flop), so overall it's certainly -EV to raise A7o in MP.
Even with A7s I wouldn't raise, your small stack kills your implied odds.
