Well, I would play it differently from the very beginning. If I were UTG1 with 23BB I would just limp and wait for a probable raise. After the raise I would go directly allin (if there was just one raise).

But if the situation was exactly the same as you posted, I would fold too.

But that's just what I would do. I'm not saying it's what you should have done or that would be the correct move. :) I'll leave it to the experts to tell what's right and what not. :)

Hi grumpy89,

welcome to the PokerStrategy.com forums! Unfortunately this is the wrong forum. This forum is for feedback concerning the content that is offered by PokerStrategy.com.

in order to get your hands evaluated, you have to post it into our sample hands forum. The professional handjudges of PokerStrategy.com are happy to help you there. Also you have to make sure that you convert the hand correctly, this makes it a lot easier for the handjudges to evaluate your hand.

You should probably have a look at this this sticky, it contains all the information on how to post a sample hand.

It is also crucial to mention the Buy In of the SNG. Since you didnt mention it and you have the Bronze status, I moved this thread into the SNG Basic Forum for you.

Regards,
Timo

Raising so huge preflop is a big leak.

Once I hit the 50/100 blinds I am raising 2.5 bbs. Some people start at the 40 / 80 mark.

So preflop raise it up 2.5x the big blind and you can bet around or just over half pot
as a c bet heads up to try and win it. Folding to resistance here is a wise move on
this flop.
