I play 0.25/0.50 now. How fast can I beat 2/4 if I am serious?
Are 8-10 months enough?
one month to beat 0.25/0.50
2months to beat 0.50/1
2 months to beat 1/2
the rest to beat 2/4
???
Are my calculations correct?

how long it takes to reach the point you're good enough to beat 2/4? probably around a month or two
how long it takes to move up from .25/.50 to 2/4? it heavily depends on what sort of bankroll management you use, when do you consider a limit 'beaten', etc. and most importantly how lucky you run. it could be anything from 2 months to 20 years

I'd say 5 days upto possibly the rest of your life is the actual case !
OP, lets face it, ridiculous question.
So 8-10months should be enough.
Then I establish my goals for next 8-10months(before next summer) to beat 2/4 and maybe 3/6.

Redskwerl summed it up, there is no definitive answer to your question, way too many factors there. depends on which site you play too.
It depends how many hands do you play in a month and how much time you can dedicate to improving your game. And luck is also a big factor. Be prepared for some killer downswings!
