Hi guys, for the last 2 weeks i have played this tourney 4 times and placed in the top 100 3 times but have never managed to make the big cash!

I thought I was about to crack it tonight until this happened with 100/1700 players left:

$800/$1600 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BU with 8d, Qd.
4 folds, MP3 calls, CO folds, Hero calls, SB calls, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) Tc, Js, 9s (4 players)
SB bets 800, BB raises 3,200, MP3 3-Bets 8,000, Hero raises 17,600, SB folds, BB folds, MP3 pushes, Hero calls.

Turn: (60.2975 BB) 5 (2 players)

River: (60.2975 BB) 8 (2 players)

Final Pot: 60.2975 BB. MP3 shows Qs Kh

Should i have considered folding to a possible KQ here or is the money always going to go in here?

Thanks

Since you have only 12 bb left, I dont like the preflop call. You are not deep enough to draw for a monster and you dont want to go broke 4 way on some sort of medium hit flop.

As played Im afraid you cannot fold since you are so shortstacked and your opponents could go broke on sets, 2pairs, combodraws etc, so that your 2nd nuts are sufficient.

A better line would have been a fold preflop but I like a push the most. You will collect the deadmoney most of the time and can enlarge your stack easily.
