0.25/0.5 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant 0.90 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is UTG2 with A♣, K♥
UTG1 calls, Hero raises, 7 folds, UTG1 calls.

Flop: (5.40 SB) J♥, 7♦, 4♦ (2 players)
UTG1 checks, Hero bets, UTG1 calls.

Turn: (3.70 BB) 3♦ (2 players)
UTG1 checks, Hero checks.

River: (3.70 BB) 7♠ (2 players)
UTG1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 5.70 BB

Did I make a bad call on the river, thinking that my A high would be best 1 in every 4.7 times?

He looks to me like a bad player who open limps A7s and is now hitting his trips. I would call if the pot was at least 8,9BB but what do i know..

Vs someone this passive bet the turn again for value and check behind the river unimproved

Don't take lines to induce a bluff against someone who isn't likely to do it, you just get yourself value-bet.
