8s9s? lol really don't know:) I think I would play the same. Maybe I'd just check/call river.

Well the board is pretty drawy so i don't think he'd be raising sets on the turn. Its possible he has 9xspades or something like QJ diamonds is basically the only thing that makes sense. But his fairly tight so i doubt his calling those hands in MP1.I also doubt hes shoving 2 pair hands in this spot.

You might want to c/c river to let him bluff with his busted diamond draw or something like that since there isn't much he can call you with by the river so there isn't much value in betting.

Hi,

against that 18/10 guy you are crushed (by backdoorflush very likely) when he raises river.
Either c/c if he is aggressive or just c/f if he is passive.
As played b/f is likely better than b/c.

What did he have?

Best regards,
Anin

You dont like his play because you think he should raise on the turn? Or something else?

As played I think it's close between bet/folding and check/calling the river.

I dont think he is ever bluffing when he raise shoves the river. But I also thing checking the river may be too conservative. Maybe bet something like $9 to get a call out of the weaker part of his range.

Just the fact he got lucky, and he didn't even 3bet preflop so i didn't put him on kings and i didn't think he had a set because he would raise flop/turn.

Ok. Well, ofc you will river your set just as often ;)

likely 18/13 isn´t really bluffing there that you should b/c with aces.
I would likely c7c myself, since I also think he isn´t really going to call me down with 9x or Tx on the river so I´d rather hope to induce bluff from missed draws than b/f very strong hand on the river
