Hello
I'm brad and welcome to my blog. I'm gonna start a new blog here as I've had a few months off and want to restart my poker career again.
Why? because I don't like working but I like poker.
Here's my last blog if anyone is interested to see my last effort.
I'm gonna mix it up, play whatever I feel like SNG/MTT /FR/HU/6max cash (all NLHE).
My last blog was all about grinding up a roll but this time the focus is on improving my play and hopefully winning some $$ will be a result of that.
Now here's the Rules:
BRM
MTT:
Up to $5 BI: 1% of roll
$5-$15: 0.75%
$15-$24: 0.5%
SNG:
40BI up to $10 then up to 50BI
CASH GAMES:
30BI to 50NL then we'll see, it'll be ages until I get that far (if I do).
ALL:
divide by 3 if high
Misc Rules:
I'm also going to keep a tally of the times I go out of BRM, weeks when I study less than my 1/3 of the time I play, times I play when tired/tilting (other than 25c sng to do some suckouts)
I'm also gonna keep a tally of times I go against my gut instinct, i'm going to record whether gut instinct turned out to be right too, just cos I know it pretty much always will be.
post bad hands for ridicule so people can "rate my pooker"
every time I get a point I'll add a km to my next run (gonna try run 2x a week)
Study Goals:
-review 10% of hands played, write notes on regs and post tricky hands.
-watch at least 1 hour/week of videos
-do sweat sessions with friends (hopefully weekly) and talk poker all day at work with sam
-buy a mouse, a lamp and some speakers
The ultimate goal/dream of all this is to quit my job and go full time pro in march 2011.
