Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$50/$100 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Known players:
BU = ($1770.00)
SB = ($2755.00)
BB = ($2160.00)
MP2 = ($2600.00)
MP3 = ($1870.00)
CO (Hero) = ($2345.00)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 6:h, 6:d.
2 folds, Hero raises to $250.00, BU calls $250.00, 2 folds, BB folds.

Flop: ($650) T:h, 2:s, 9:s (2 players)
Hero bets $400.00, BU raises to $1,520.00(All-In), Hero calls $1,120.00.

Turn: ($3690) 5:h (2 players)

River: ($3690) 5:c (2 players)

Final Pot: $3690.

:diamond:Is the pre-flop raise OK or would a limp be better?
:diamond:Is the c-bet OK with this flop vs 1 opponent? In retrospect it seems too big... maybe $300 would be better?

(I know the all-in call is horrible... I've been playing desperate poker lately after a lengthy spell of bad beats... now my bad play is compounding my losses, making me play more desperate... I've decided to take the next week off to clear my head and refocus...)

In this stage, open-raising when u enter the hand is always better than open-limping.. so the preflop raise is definitely ok..

Postflop..I think in general yes..but you might not c-bet here against very loose players imo.. and I like your c-bet size..

Definitely raise pre.

This flop hits a BU flatcalling range pretty hard, it's tempting to just check/fold imo. See what hand judge says.

Hi all,

Ugly flop. I still slightly prefer betting though. But once we bet we must fold to a shove.

Half pot is enough on the flop btw.

My tuppence is that limping is pretty naff yes, wouldn't be awful with 2+ limpers in front but that's jolly rare at t100 level. I am never cbetting this flop. May sound odd but I hate seeing Tens on flops. A massive % of flatting hands and bb defending hands (I know this is btn) are AT, KT, QT, JT type stuff so I pretty much give up straight away. Way too short stacked to cbet.
