MP2 ($3.39)
MP3 ($14.38)
CO ($6)
Button ($21.90)

Preflop: UTG, UTG +1 Folds
Hero is MP1 with 2c 2d calls BB
MP2 Calls BB
MP3 and CO folds
Button Calls BB
SB folds
BB checks

Flop: ($0.90) 9d , 2h , 10c

BB bets 0.80
Hero Calls
Button Raises to 4.10
BB and Hero Folds

Button played very few hands, like 10 % at the most. Never went to showdown before this hand. Later, he slow played trips.

I am not sure if I should call his raise or go all-in. As you see I folded.
Any thoughts will be highly appreciated.

no way would i fold there not a hope why would you call pre flop to hit probaly the best flop you could ask for and then fold, BUT its better to make a bad lay down then a bad call

ship the nickels imo

I wasn't sure if he would just call with poket 9 or 10. That still looks bit imposible to me. I thought that he might limp in with 10 9 and hit 2 pairs. His overbet - maybe he wanted to push us away as he was scared of flash and straight draws.
It was difficult to lay down that set...

Well there are only two hands that beat you.. and honestly.. if that guy is any good, do you think hes gonna limp with pocket tens or nines on the button? Snap call, and even if he has one of them, you can always hit your one outer.

+1

I'd fold quads here, because the set of nines can always hit their 1-outer on the turn or the river. I hate those quads-on-quads beats.
