Hi, im switching to pokerstars i intend to grind this mtt. I have $100 right now, how can i use proper brm?
Im thinking about 70bi for 18man, 80bi for 27man and 90bi for 45 man. What do you guys think?
I have a good experience with ICM and played a lot of stt turbo. But mtt is a little new to me.
I'm playing 5$ 18-45 man sngs (normal speed) at fulltilt. I have 110 BI++, but I'm planing to move up soon. I think 65 BI should be enough for 45 man at normal speed SNGs. It depends of course on your ROI, but as long as you're a winning playing I'm pretty sure this should be enough. If you are playing turbos I think 100BIs will be good.
I would suggest using the same BRM as you would playing single table SNGs, so 100 buy ins. Thereforeb with a bankroll of $100 start off with $1 sngs irrespective of whether its 18/27/45/90 seater.

I'm pretty sure the BRM for single table SNGs is not 100 buy ins. It's more like 30-50. For MTTs it's about 100 buy ins. For 18, I think 50 is fine. 27 and 45 players, 70 and 100 buy-ins respectively . 27 person sngs are not too different, but 45 person sngs are pretty much standard MTTs.
