Hi Steve,
Really enjoyable blog
You will probably say why is that is important at this stage of a blog. Well I believe it is because I will often use 100 words to make my point when 10 will do
I know just how that feels. For some reason I do the same! To the frustration of many around me 
I think it is because as a educator some time you need to explain in as many ways to get a point through.
I look forward to reading future posts and wish you luck at the tables.

Hi mate, glad you found a few bits of interest to read, I checked yours out too and will keep an eye on it.
I always pop on and check this site I really do like the feel of it and enjoy reading the blogs.
For my part my house refurbishment is about done so should have some hours free shortly to play a bit.
I am halfway through T25 (Saturday actually) and will post an update at that point.
Life is good, family good, house is good, work is good, so all..... good

Hope you are all well, i occasionally pop in to PS just to see how the chaps are doing. So not regular at all but every now and then i get dragged back to the dark side. Once again really loving the content that IvicaIliev77 puts up. Like every body else i really respect his work ethics and unless i am a total dreadful judge of character he is just a hard working , free given lovely human being and i wish him nothing but success, he deserves it.
So watching his Spins Twitch i thought that i might as well have ago. As i am a nit and have not deposited for.... ever, i really can't remember when it last was, so checking my stars balance, Bronze, no shock, 7 cents in the account, oops, but hang on i have 800 odd stars point or what ever the hell they are so i thought lets buy some spin seats. After a few clicks of the 25censt ones i got bored so blew the rest on $1 spins tickets. ( FFS Steve moving up already ). Net result 8 x $1 spins and 3 x 25 cent tickets.
So with this roll i descended on the fun. Won the first 3 x 25 spins (all skill) and the first $1 spin, i am a foooking natural. It was like the first day you ever play poker and the poker gods say, let him think he can win and we will have him for life. How true. I flopped sets and hit nuts flushes all over the place. If i was a newbie i would have thought i was the bizzo, but i know this trap so the poker gods can take their fake run good and do one.
The end result after the 11 spins my balance is 16.07 with my 7 wins. (that seven cents is going to annoy me) which is 64 bi's for the 25 cent spins.
So i might play tomorrow, the next day or never, i may play spins for a week or blow it in all on a 180 man who knows. But i guess i have a roll now and can refrain from depositing.. at least for a little while.

Played a few spins started looking at study material, looks like fun but still as ever lots of Whoooossshhh over my head. Roll now at 29.57 ( Dam 7 cents) Ran super well, playing 1$'s but I am under no elusion I am running well at the moment. (found some left over Christmas booze and suddenly found myself playing a few $3's and even 1 $7 the other night, I survived to BE.....BRM ftw )
Health: Not bad, going to start and do a bit more running shortly, was training up until late Oct last year when I got injured at the end of a small Triathlon, other wise I would have had a good winter and would be running well at this moment in time. Never mind onwards and upwards.
I have 7 Grandkids now which should be the lot, OMG do they take up any spare time or what.
Life, retirement is the next thing for me, I am a very young 57 so have about 10 years work left in me, financial all things are set, no Mortgage, no Bills, a few quid saved up and a chunk of disposable income. 40th Wedding Anniversary in Oct. 40 Mother fooking years, seem more like 60 to be honest Still stuck with it now. Planning a holiday for the celebration, the only trouble is the bloody wife wants to come. Probably a Nile cruise, hmmm hungry crocs and a chunky wife ..
Back to poker. Goner fanny arse around a bit more in these spins see if they hold my interest I might reluctantly deposit some of my hard earned and get a proper roll for them.

Ok so i have spent some time studying/working on the game. Want to keep it light and fun with no real expectation save to have a fun hobby, if i make a few $$$ all the better.
Watched Ivic's Twitch this morning, was brill as expected, whooshed a lot but some bits stuck. So i need to start at the Basics. Get HM2 set up properly and start to understand what it is telling me. i understand that it will not show Cev per tourney unlike PT and you need to do a manual calculation, seems a bit of an over sight to me, but what do i know.
I have played 97 spins and show Chips (EV adjusted) 16600 so 16600/97 equals 171 per tourney, have i got this right? If so i know the number is crazy but i need to check that i am looking the right thing firstly.

Replay some of my hands to date to see if i can pick up on some of the points learnt.
Play the extra 4 spins i need for the challenge, silly not to, could be a biggie due
Just so i understand the red line shows how i should have ran if all things had gone mathematically correct the green showing how i did run? I know sample size but just so i know what i am looking at so at the 50th spin i was running above and by the end it evened out, am i understanding this correctly?

Already spins target is a joke, i am only one tabling which takes about 6 mins per spin, so 10 an hr - 30 hours this week.. wrong. That should change to 50.

Study 1.25hrs, thought i might attach the notes i took, which i will review before the next session, pick up shortfall and take it from there.

65 hit set on flop can chk to let them catch up, esp. against aggro. also bet under half pot of going to bet? Did this later same fold 
AK don't limp and try to get tricky pre Level 1. if miss fire at some point esp. on turn when gutshot comes.?
Don't spew after a donk beats you and call ai pre with j9o 15 bb. even the donk wakes up with a hand.
When they 3 bet my flop c bet and they are short they are not laying down.
Don't make one stupid play compounded by making others almost immediately.
When facing a large 3 bet first hand pre, make note at showdown as if bad hand will tell you lots. (Dickhead Steve he was ail, FFS learn to read hand properly)
When they bet min on river they have nothing but hope you fold.

My play was not as bad as i thought it was in those games, but still some simple things to address,.
I notice i am affected by the way that they play, For example i stop opening button properly when they seem to constantly have the better of nme, probably a confidence thing!

FFS the best laid plans of mice and men, job gone up the swannie, have to get the CV dusted off and put to work, Now this is what I call a spin.
This Blog will never die, hehehehe. When I titled this in 2013 (WTF), I thought after 7 years of playing I should actually put some work in and learn something Here we are a further 6 years on and I have definitely been left behind, not that I was ever up to speed. But these make a fascinating read back for me and hopeful will continue to do so.
So I am now semi- retired in that I work 2.5 days a week so have lots of free time and whist I do enjoy the studying I find it difficult on how to study, but this is just a hobby so no rush. This blog might run for a day, week, month or for ever lets just see where it goes.
The latest manifestation is looking at DON's yes I know I am late to the party but used to play a few every now and then and did ok, think I was winning a bit generally, the problem I see is the traffic and so have checking all sited out that run a few, I assume to get any volume I would have to play on various sites which should make the desktop look a mess, a bit OCD I am afraid so that might be an issue.
The other problem is off course I that these look like these are dying so it seem silly to invest too much time on them. I just feel that it will help my study to focus on a format like this, 6 players, ICM. These skill will be transferable. The other obvious format are spins, but sigh....
Family
I have 7 Grandkids and they take up a lot of my time, which I adore and I have also become a dog owner for the first time, I have a beautiful Cockapoo named Louie and he means the world to be, I will post some pics when I remember how.
Study
Have done about 20 hrs in the last week or so and will continue for the rest of the day, ICMizier 2, HM and Poker satellite strategy by Dara O'Kearney, which is a great read.. I always loved satties and did well and I understand this content is useful for DON's also.
I may play play a bit on PP later, I know reg infected but I see what I feel are many mistakes so maybe they are not that good, or what is more likely I haven't a clue what I am on about.
Any way that will do for now. be lucky.

About 4 hours use of Icmizier 2 yesterday, I guess OK sometimes on the tests but really need to work out why some are a shove and some are not. Not supposed to use jedi powers I guess.
