So been around 3 month since i started this challenge and i think like im getting better and better each day playing.

Attending the coachings make you understand the game deeper and i appriciate it alot.
Instead of just doing a move you learn to understand WHY you do it which help you improve as a player.

Been playing around 3k games so far since the start and considering i had not played any spins before i started with spinlegends i feel like the results are decent so far. Below is the overall graph ( 500 games 1s , 1200 games 3s and 1300 games of 7s ) :

Spoiler

Overall im at around 70 cEV for the whole sample which is okey considering i hade none spinning background.
The Ev line is not that far ahead of the green line now so i hope i can keep on running good and maybe they will be friends soon...:fouet:

Hopefully i can finish the last ~150 games on 7s with a good cEV before its time for the next "checkup" and after that we will see what my plan is for the upcomming weeks.

So, finally done with my first block of 7s. Took a while finishing the 1500 games due to some personal thing that came in between and prioritizing other stuff some days.
Got up to around 50cEV during theese game which i feel is decent. I felt like at this limit you started to face regulars that know their stuff which obvious have a negative impact of your results. However im sure i am able to crush this limit soon enough.

I sent my hands for follow-up , but im pretty sure i have to grind some more 7s be4 im able to move up to 15s. I dont mind that at all as i feel i have some spots i can improve at.

On a side note, i will try to play the weekly deepstack tourny on the Casino to get some live hands in aswell for a change.
Actually love playing live but its pretty slow at some times but its nice to come out and "speak poker" for a few hours aswell instead of just sitting home grinding.

Finally the graph:

so i get my 42$ back?

best of luck at the live tournament :)

shes getting better every day.

mah 45 chip ev by now. was worse. think i had(mb still am in the middle of) a downswing.
had in 1,3xx games twice 10x multiplier, nothing better so also running "bad" in the multipliers i think.

but i am confident, its getting better and better, i am really playing well recently (at least that s my impression)

Home from the tourny at the casino, finished 8 out of around 90 people. That was the FT bubble so a bit annoying.

Got in My 77 vs A9o. An expected Ace on the flop and it was over for the night.

Won around 500 bucks in the tourny and used 100 of thoose on the dice table for another 400$ profit.

So overall a 900 $ profit for the night is Decent afterall :)

Now Its time to sleep so i get up for the morning meeting at work tomorrow at 8 😴

So, the last 2 days have been the worse since i started with the spins. Feels like im coolered every single tourny and when im finally ahead i get sucked out.
But i stil feel that the game is pretty solid so i hope its just a nasty downswing thats soon over.

You dont get motivated grinding when it feels like you can't win any games...

Anyway, will probably remove tables so i really make the best decision in the upcomming games.

also worst run of my life. asking myself if jamming any2 would result in worse chipev or better? :D
countless of coolers. every draw of villains got there and at one point my game just fell apart and i called 3b to allin
with QT on 85Q38 board. obviously he had 85. at this point i had to call it a day and stop.
funfact. I ran above ev in that sample :D

chip ev over 1,6k games dropped from 50 to 38 within that sample.

hope I can play to the best of my ability today as i am still somewhat mad and fed up

Guys, check your cEV after 5k+ games. Even that sample will not be sufficient and will give a lot of swings. Also, keep in mind that you are learning, improving, testing strategies so it is natural that your cEV will swing a lot during different blocks of 500 games. Example, in 1st 500 games you might have played straight up and had great variance and setups so cEV was high, 2nd block of 500 games you might have started to bluff some spots and you run into top of the range often cEV went down, 3rd block of 500 games you worked on your bluff catching and run into stronger range from opponent cEV gets lower. You see the point I am trying to make, 1.5k games is nothing in Spins. What you should focus is to improve strategy and evaluate hands daily, this will make sure that you stay on track to crush. Checking graphs and cEV can do a lot of bad things for your mental game. Instead check evbb/100 for each position in Spins and dig into the hands to see where things went wrong. Also keep in mind that your cEV will get lower when you run into reg games often vs 2 recs or 1 rec 1 reg. Over this you don't have 100% control over however there are certain times of the day where on the limit you play (just like for me) there is more regs then the others. So my advice is to structure grind outside of those times because then your grind will be smoother in terms of recs ratio and your cEV can be higher (on paper - in practice variance still happens no matter who you play).
Wish you both well with Spin Legends!

Cheers for taking your time posting here.

I totally agree with you about not checking cEV over a small sample as it doesnt tell us anything. Im not depending on poker as an income as i have a decent job with a decent salary already but the thing is that if you run bad ( you know that even without checking the graph) you starting to doubt yourself and your play thinking you do something wrong when you actually just running bad.

My main focus is improving and getting a deeper knowledge of the game which i feel is happening so all good there.

A good point about grinding outside of the reginfested times but im working full time atm so im limited when it comes to that.

Thank you for your kind words and hopefully we have some fights on the 15 soon enough!

Been a few days since i posted here.

Have not been that much poker since last time. A lot happening at work and some of my colleges been sick so been pretty stressed. Also been away to my hometown over the weekend so had some stuff to catch up with there aswell...

But today im back home and was back to the grind.
Actually had a hand i was a bit confused about, if im just spewing on the river or actually did something good :

PokerStars - 10/20 NL (3 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 25 BB
SB: 25 BB
Hero (BB): 25 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 9♦ A♠

BTN calls 1 BB, SB raises to 2 BB, Hero calls 1 BB, BTN calls 1 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 3 players) 4♠ 8♦ 2♠
SB checks, Hero checks, BTN bets 2 BB, SB calls 2 BB, Hero calls 2 BB

Turn: (12 BB, 3 players) 7♠
SB bets 1 BB, Hero calls 1 BB, BTN raises to 4 BB, SB calls 3 BB, Hero calls 3 BB

River: (24 BB, 3 players) T♥
SB checks, Hero checks, BTN bets 5 BB, fold, Hero raises to 17 BB and is all-in, fold

Hero wins 34 BB

Feels like the river bet is really weak from villian and most likly is a blockbet and since i blocked both the nutflush and the nutstr8 i felt it was a decent spot to bluff the river. What do you think ? ( the few that is reading :transpire: )

On a non pokerrelated sidenote, i was on a date a few days ago with a girl i had been speaking with for a while but first time meeting her. We went out eating and then met up with her sister and her boyfriend for some bowling and some other stuff. Anyway, at the end of the day i liked the sister more then my own date, feelsbad... :sifflote:

As long as you didn’t like her boyfriend more than both of them it’s all good! :)

Usually bets in 3 way pots are very strong. He is betting into 2 so not sure if he will fold enough for you to turn a profit. He has to call 12 to win infinity chips! Hard to fold bottompair

Lost my 3rd 25 times today on 7s.
So 0/3 in 25x and 0/4 in 10x and still I am super motivated :O next 20ish high mutlipliers I will win :)

The boyfriends seemed to be a decent guy so he was second tbh... xD

Yea, maybe it is. My plan was to give up river but when he made it so small i changed my mind...

Im sure you win the next big multiplier except if im in it, then i will take it down ;)

Been some swingy days with days running like a god (see the post be4 this one) and some days running.... not so good... :)
However i feel like im improving my game due to the coachings and studiying my own hands from my database.

I can see an improvement both in my gameplay and the cEv aswell. Im sure i will improve enough to move up to the 15s relative soonish ( a month or 2 ).

Holidays comming up and im working 5 more days be4 im free from work for ~3 weeks. Many of thoose days will be spent with the the family and friends so might be some days where it will be next to no grind. However i will try to have a real grinding day or 2 before im traveling "home". Will try to play 500-600 games until next weekend with atleast one day grinding 150-200 spins.

December started out great money wise, with me winning a x25 and 2-3 x10s:

Thats all for now and gl at the tables!
