Played an interesting satellite today. 152 entrants, 125 places paid.
Had to fold QQ pre, had to fold KK overpair post... Anyway, lots of steals, solid win.
Weirdly, the game wasn't over when we got ITM. So everyone just kept pushing. Had the sickest run of my life 
Done with my monthly goal. Still have some recreational mtt to play tomorrow, I'll probably add some tables but only if they are really really fishy cos I'm a bit tired of the grind.
Anyhow, I'll conclude stuff when the month is over but it's looking really nice even tho I'm slightly below zero (and ev) pre rb.

It's hard to do a review when I said I wont post any results and graphs....
Still, I can talk about something. I feel good about February, even though I was hit by a pretty big downer ($-wise, not really BI-wise), I came almost entirely out of it, though the green line is in fact in the minus. Luckily, I have good RB.
I've been neglecting school a bit as I had like 24 days to grind out what usually takes 30-31 days. I regret that a bit and I've decided to focus more on school in March, even though my volume goal is similarish to February. I hope I'll be able to do that.
I reviewed quite a lot, but not nearly enough. I wanted to check all my marked hands - well, I did not. So, that's a fail. Still, I did a lot of reviews so I don't feel particularly down about it.
I wanted to do some nice table selection, I think that worked out relatively well. I preferred playing less tables and raking less to grinding a lot of regs.
I also played my first $108 games! Played 4, won two, 2nd in one. That helped a lot with the downer, but that's ok cos most of my unlucky runs concentrated on the $54s and not on the $22s or $33s for example.
Also, I've started making quizes for the russian community which I really really enjoy. Really feel like I'm a teacher
I've also enjoyed my live coachings, especially the last one which was a HH review. I always think that those are the best.

So, I guess I'm earning pretty well for a college student after all
EV-line is not working, but I'm below the incorrect one ♦
Also started watching Scrubs. Which I've always liked, but somehow I never sat down to watch the whole thing. I really like 20-min series, you can just stick one in before you fall asleep.

Very good question!
I think the hardest parts are motivation and prioritizing stuff.
By prioritizing I mean that if you want to do well in school, play enough poker, go to the gym, spend time with friends, spend time with girlfriend, and possibly do a hobby or two - it's gonna be extremely hard, maybe even impossible to do all of this.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, cos I've chosen these things for myself and I'm also living pretty well, so I'm really content. But in January, when school was tougher with all the exams, I had very little time for poker. In february, I've given up some of the time that I should've spent learning and I wasnt too serious about the gym either (again...). I also don't have any special hobby, I usually watch films for relaxing. You know, I've spent 20-25 hours with poker a week (including coachings, other educational stuff, handreviews, videos, etc). That's not much, but if you add it to university, it's actually significantly more than most people spend working when they are working adults(which is 40 hours, I guess). And you know, if you want to live and be with friends and girlfriend as well...
Once again, not complaining
So it's not easy to prioritize, and decide what you find most important, second most important, etc.
Motivation is also hard after a time. I consider poker work, even though I enjoy it and really love doing it. Now it gets a bit tiring if you are either at school or working, and only doing fun one or two times a week - especially if you see others do more of the fun stuff. But this has it's rewards, like living alone, buying stuff others can't, etc.
But atm I'm really motivated - though my volume goals are not exceptionally high, I'd really like to keep it constant and to be able to repeat february in march, april and possibly May.

Exactly. I had a huge fishfest with the most games/hour I've seen in months yesterday at 3pm, and then absolute, vast, dead nothing at 5pm. lol, just lol. In any case, there is not much to do about it, but my volume already looks bad so that's why it's whiny-time

surely the 30s on stars/FT are full of fish all the time. no? or is it not worth adding those because you dont have awesome bonuses for low volume.
30$ on stars are quite reg infested sometimes. Maybe not very strong regs, but even breakeven ones are bad if there is 5 regs in 6max game.

I don't find the Stars games very fishy, no. Yeah, they are not great regs, but the ongame regs are pretty horrid as well, but it still sucks if there are 2 bad, 1 okay reg plus me at the table. And there are occasional good regs as well.
Anyhow, realistically I think I'm between BE and 1%. Might be slightly below BE. Which is really sad, but good rb compensates. At the end of the day, I'm going for $/hr.
Also, I was really thinking about moving to Stars, but the legislation in my country is underway and I think Stars will be the only one left standing with the taxes they're gonna get, so I wanna explore some different environments before I'm forced to do Stars. I know, not very rational, but it makes sense in my head ♦
Checked results today, "happily" noticing that around one third of my down comes from 10 games that I've played on the $100s.
Mixing limits ==> ++swings
