Yesterday started out good getting up by about $1 but it soon came down and only ended up 19c for 1.49BB/100 for 319 hands, this takes my win rate to 0.70BB/100 for 19,465 hands played, a bit dejected in not getting enough AA only had 71 when should have been 87 for those hands, I am sure it will catch up though.
Tourney tickets are back down to $45.50.

Good job recognizing the need for a stop loss. I know a younger version of myself wouldn’t be able to stop. I hope to use this as an example that I can do it too, when necessary.

Thanks abomb1 yes I never used one when I was younger too. Yesterday I played 222 hands for a profit of 83c or 9.35BB/100, this takes my win rate to 0.80BB/100 for 19,687 hands played. I played exactly the number of hands you expect to receive AA and got them on my last hand or so but no catch up. No change in tourney tickets $45.50.

I played 256 hands yesterday for a loss of 63c or 6.15BB/100, it was difficult to find enough loose players to get a good table. My win rate is now 071BB/100 for 19,943 hands played, no AA received again. I think stars need more maintenance, lol.

Played 182 hands yesterday it started quite badly nearly invoking the stop loss but I managed to recover the situation for a small profit of 8c for 1.10BB/100, this takes my win rate to 0.72BB/100 for 20,125 hands played. Tourney tickets are still $45.50.
Now I have passed 20k hands its time for more study.

Transitioning from full ring to 6-max fixed limit is a big change after playing higher stakes for so long. Starting fresh at 2c/4c is a good move to rebuild. Checking your PokerTracker stats regularly can really help fine-tune your game.

Yes Marcunek it is a big move I used to play up to 4-6 tables at a time of $1/$2 but I struggle to concentrate on one 6 max table. Had AA yesterday but they got smacked by 65s and the flop hit with K66 and I did not improve. Played 315 hands for a small profit of 24c or 1.90BB/100, this takes my win rate up to 0.73BB/100 for 20,440 hands played. Tourney tickets still unchanged. I have found one thing out though today and the clue was the fact that I have 75% winning sessions with the way I play, so all I need to do is avoid the times of day which are tougher!!!

I've found myself having to only play during the low volume times, when I'm playing for tickets and gtd pots. And during higher volume times when I'm playing cash or sit-n-go's. It seems to help a little. Any edge I can get, I'll use.

Yes I agree abomb1 that's how things are working for me too, it also means I will play less hands which will reduce my standard deviation or my bad losing days will be lower. So yesterday I made 61c or 5.45BB/100 for 280 hands played, this takes my win rate up to 0.80BB/100 for 20,720 hands played. Tourney tickets are unchanged at $45.50.
It seems like a slow slog but Rome was not built in a day.

Yesterday I had to invoke the stop loss yet again losing 107c after 172 hands or 15.55BB/100, this takes my win rate back down to 0.66BB/100 for 20,892 hands played. Although I am up but not by my much for June it is possible I could lose over the month. Over the last 7 days I have only made 25c, but one has to look at the bigger picture.
I have also started doing my tax return yuck.

Well yesterday was very annoying had one session where QQ,KK and AA got beat hit, full house split, nut str8 split, had to check my shoes in case I had trod in something. Anyway managed a small profit after all that of 18c for 296 hands played or 1.52BB/100, this takes my win rate to 0.67BB/100 for 21,188 hands played. Won a spin and go and got 3rd place in step 2 for A $1.50 ticket so my tourney tickets are now $47.

It was difficult to get a good table yesterday, a maniac was camped out on one all evening causing the usual havoc. Anyway I made a profit of 44c from 200 hands or 5.50BB/100 mainly from the afternoon session, this takes my win rate up to 0.75BB/100 for 21,537 hands played.
Tourney tickets slightly improved to $48.50 I won a spin and go and came 2nd in a step 2, only wanted to finish 4th so I could cash so went all in with 52o and hit runner runner wheel other guy was probably pissed off with that. Also had 3 pairs of AA so slightly catching up there too but still 15 pairs behind.

Seems to be too many maniacs about or they been taught to keep raising, yesterday had to put my stop loss in again losing 104c for 190 hands or 13.68BB/100, this takes my win rate down to 0.62BB/100 for 21,727 hands and its touch and go if I will make anything in June. With 2 days to go I am up $1.05 and overall $5.40. Just noticed my losing days overall is 1/3 or 21/63, I wonder what other players losing days are.
We need more players playing really. Tourney tickets are unchanged.

I had my greatest fear realized twice this week. 3 bet-shoved with KK, and they called with AA. I know it happens, but seeing the KK gives me so much anxiety.

Those full house losses are often hard to get over. We all know it’s variance, but it’s hard not to take them personally.

Keep grinding.

Yes abomb1 its very hard not to feel angry and let that affect your play, looked at my poker tracker stats and I should have had 98 pairs of AA and KK but only 82 for AA but 115 for KK lets hope it evens out a bit soon.

Well made up for the last days losses with a winning day of 106c or 18.93BB/100 for 140 hands played and takes my win rate back up to 0.74BB/100 for 21,867 hands played. Used a small tourney ticket up to no avail but they are still good at $47.
Well next post is after the end of month so a slightly longer post. June has been a bit mixed with not great results in cash games but better in tourney tickets.

Yesterday could not get a good enough game due to aggro people at the tables and then watched the England game good choice I think, managed to get a few hands late in the day so +10c for 80 hands played and takes my win rate up to 0.75BB/100 for 21,947 hands played.
So for the monthly update I had 10/30 losing days of which 7 were bad losing days, during the month I decided to employ a stop loss had that been in place before the month started I would made an extra $1.50 which would have pushed my win rate to 0.92BB/100 and probably a bit higher as I would have played slightly less hands. So this means the stop loss certainly works and stays in place for July, stop losses if enacted from start would have added $4.00 and would have got myself above the all important 1BB/100.
So these figures are from my start of play 27th April, +$1.03,+$3.32,+$2.21= +$6.56 and hands played 1,414,12,597,7936= 21,947.
Hands played have reduced in June due to more restricted playing times as there are not enough playing at other times of day and trying to get a better position at the table as I have more history on players.
I have no cashes in June from tourneys but tickets have increased in value due to getting four $11 tickets so my ticket value has increased to $48.50 from $18. My loyalty return is $3.29 from two step 2 cashes and a chest, so my profitability is $6.56+$3.29=$9.75 plus tickets. This would need to improve to hit my target of $64 by end of year.
My targeted number of hand for July is 8,053 to get me to 30k that's about 260 hands a day and ought to be doable and to get closer to 1BB/100, also to get more tickets. Wish me luck!!!!

There was not much play yesterday at the tables they must all be watching the footie. I did manage to get some hands in late in the night though so was up 90c for 154 hands played and 14.61BB/100, this takes my win rate up to 0.84BB/100 for 22,101 hands played.
Tourney tickets are now $49.00
I probably did well yesterday as I had 2 pairs AA both winning.
