Tilted, spewed, threw away some moneyz on cash games (ZOOM & regular tables, NLHE&PLO).

Need a brake a little so I tried out some 45man on Stars (ATM $3,5s untill I regain my roll and confidence a little). So far I have been on a nice upswing over this tiny sample.

Am I really reading that right?! 1BI/Game played up?

100% ROI almost flat, just over?

That's sick, keep that up and you'll be printing money faster than you can spend it!

Yas, you'r reading it right. :f_biggrin: It's close to 100%, hope ti lasts as long as possible (I know it won't last forever, downswings are essential part of any poker variant, especially MTSNGs).

Played some more (about 40 tourneys) but can't get the graph, since HEM2 is crashing every time I click on "reports">"Tournaments".
It started happening when I opened "Place distribution graph". Now I can't even get to the reports. Will have to submit that bug to HEM support. :f_mad:

OK, managed to get HEM working.

Here are the latest results...ROI dropped already, but it is still a good run.

Come on...just had a horrible set. Getting sucked out all the time when AI.

Hands that were AI preflop:

OK, today was not a good day.

Played 77 tourneys, lost ~50BIs.

Couldn't win a flip, couldn't win when I was ahead, couldn't even suck out when I was behind...

This graph sums it up.

cEV difference of 123k in 77 tourneys... :f_confused:

OK, time to forget yesterdays' results and move on.

Sample is still very small and can't really say what to expect in terms of ROI.
Anyone playing 45man can offer some info on what ROIs can be achievable at micros and beyond?

Will play couple more today and see after that. Will probably make a detailed review of what went wrong yesterday. Was it bad run or more of a bad play.

Hey in my experience, I would think that you were probably playing fine yesterday. Because your graph is so vertical, you were probably just in a lot of 50/50 situations.

When I was beating the 45mans, I was told that 20-30 ROI is a good ROI. I was running good though I had like 55 ROI though lol that's why I was asking people what the normal ROI was.

And work on your game as much as you can! I'm working on mine and I'm on the sickest downswing ever without an end in sight so far. But when I come out of it, I'll be confident that it'll have a slingshot effect :] because I'll be playing so much better than the rest of the $1.50 field.

Hang in there,

I play the 0.50cent 45 mans!

Downswings are soo terrible especially after a good month, my month has started off much the same!

Im going to load up some more tables hopefully the doom switch is off now for both of us, but yeah Its been a while since I've been gettings beats just like you! Can't win a flip FML

I know there will be swings and I have to be mentally prepared. No problem in that. :)

Played some more over the weekend. One day had a massive session of 40+ BI in 30 games (while running 20k under cEV). And another I lost something like 30 BIs... Overall still in +.

Will play some more games now. Hope on some rungood.

Fallen back on updating again. :f_mad: But not like someone missed this blog :P

So here is a short summation on what's been going on:
-Stopped playing 45mans
-Back to cashgames
-Joined PKR
-Had to withdrew some money for vacation and expenses, which hurt my online bankroll
-Got a backer, thank you onraman
-I'm playing NL50 on PKR now :)

Will post some updates, when I get more volume in.

Have fun!

Moved from PKR to a new site, so I guess it's time to update this blog a little.
Hopefully that will last. :)

Withdrew some of the money from PKR yesterday (I got it to my MB account instantly, altho it sais it takes up to 3 days :f_thumbsup: ) and deposited to Ladbrokes. Got a 1000€ bonus + 30% RB (will fulfill the requirements for sure).

So all in all 61% RB. Yaay!

I like the software. It's not as good as FTP was or Stars is, but it's nice. What I like most in contrast from PKR is that the gameplay is much faster. On PKR it took too long for each hand, so puting in big volume was much harder. This also means I'll rake more and therefore get more RB. :f_love:

Played two sessions yesterday. Started with two suckouts (not from me :(), but ended well. Second one started like hell, but managed to pull back most of the losses. Most importantly, I finished the day with profit.

Swings.

Thanks. :)

Might come by on ocasion...Left some money on PKR. :)

But for now I'll probably focus on Ladbrokes and try to get as much of that bonus as I can, because it gives a nice RB when you also add loyality bonus.

Reached VIP status on Ladbrokes. So 61% RB here I come.

Will do a little review in the evening when I combine hands I played at home with hands I played in my appartment.

Forgot to join the hands from my home computer with my main database last week, so, there was no review. X(
Hopefully will remember to do it this time. :)

Strategy points came in finally. I'm platinum, but it looks like I could get diamond if I put in a little extra volume. We'll see how much time I'll have. Maybe diamond for the first time since I joined PS? Would be nice. :f_cool:
