The third hour of the night. I was lying in bed for three hours and I could not sleep. Various thoughts through my mind and decided that need it all to be written down.

Briefly about my current situation.
After graduating from the road and railway engineering studies I worked four years as long as the work of an engineer, decided that further can not imagine myself in this profession. So already a Month as I am unemployed and I am living from accumulated savings, which by my calculations I have enough for another six months. However, at least at this point things are moving. Together with a friend provided a request for support for a young business to start. So while waiting for an answer (which will take about a month) all my time trying to give for poker.

Why I decided to create this blog?
Because I got used to the routine and I became lazy cunt. My body started coverages fat, interest in hobbies such as sports, photography, parties, etc. began to falter and himself became lost its attraction. I decided to recover everything and turn my life in a positive direction. So I think that this blog, commitment and your support will help me to achieve this. In poker, life and even leisure time must be order. However, the time has come when I have to take care of myself.

What is this blog?
First of all, this is poker players community here, so I shall report achievements as a poker player. Will set new goals and will try to organize my time. Another bad part about it is how I fail to return to normal life. Will share everyday problems, look for ways to be able to resolve them.

Beginning...

Poker:
I chose poker store location first, because reading about it will be much more interesting than about my life. So the situation. A few weeks I played 45, 90, 180 and MTT tournaments. Build for myself some sort of bankroll ($ 380) and I decided to change the format to STT. Doing this I am going to play 1000 tournament of 1,5$ this week and only then I am going to draw any conclusions about. The reason why I decided to change the format is very simple - the variation. The only thing I expect from a Turbo STT is less variation than MTT tournaments.

Goals:
Monday
• 7 hours of play
• 1 hour of learning
Tuesday
• 7 hours of play
• 1 hour of learning
Wednesday
• 7 hours of play
• 1 hour of learning
Thursday
• 7 hours of play
• 1 hour of learning
Friday
• 5 hours of play
Saturday off
Sunday
• 4 hours of the play
• 2 hours of learning

So these are my poker goals of this week.
If you have any tips how to plan it better or something...

Life rebuild:
I hope it will not be boring for you. So my plan this week is just to begin to live and not to be seated in one place. I decided to start Insanity fitness program to restore my physical state, to start a healthy diet, quit smoking, remember the forgotten hobbies and spend more time for live communication with friends and new people.

Goals:
Monday
• Fit Test
• Making healthy food
Tuesday
• Plyometric Cardio Circuit
• Making healthy food
• 1 hour walk
Wednesday
• Cardio Power and Resistance
• Making healthy food
• Photography
Thursday
• Cardio Recovery
• Making healthy food
Friday
• Pure Cardio
• Visit the parents
• spend the evening with friends
Saturday
• Plyometric Cardio Circuit
• Take a ride on a motorcycle
• Helping Dad
• Take a photos of Hometown
• Spend an evening with friends
Sunday
• Making the healthy food
• Time with friends

So this is my coming week.
7 hours of poker I am going to play in 2x3,5 hour sessions. Therefore, I think Monday-Thursday's schedule will look like this:

8:30 Get up
8:30-9:30 Breakfast and news
9:30-13:00 First session of poker
13:00-14:00 Workout
14:00-15:30 Shower and Lunch
15:30-19:00 Second session of poker
19:00-24:00 All other

So this week I'm ready to knockout my laziness. I hope this post was not too long. Now is 4 AM and I think it will be much more easier to fall asleep.

Almost forgot.

Bankroll Challenge update:
Tournaments: 520
Bankroll: 383$
Profit: +12,8$
Week 7

First day of kicking lazines butt is over!

First of all, I am happy that I made all Monday goals. Was very excited in the morning and everything went like planed. Fitt test was realy insane.. Almost died here :))
I need to inprove my food recipe because todays lunch wasnt very tasty :)

Poker time:
As I was planing I managed to play 7h. It was 170 games so volume isnt very bad. Did my hand review in the end of session. looks like my push/call range is not bad and I am not making much misstakes in this place. Another thing to improve is early/mid stage. Find my self a little too loose in thys stages.Today purchased poker tracker 4 and was very happy to use HUD without annoying red collor :) After 170 games I am break even and hope to hit my upswing soon.

Monday
7 hours of play done
1 hour of learning done
Monday
Fit Test done
Making healthy food done (need to do better one:))

Tomorrow is the new day and I need to keep my head up! One more good thing, tonight I am going to sleep very well (thnx to fit test)

Good night

Lets begin with out poker stuff.
It is two days I am challengening my self to become better person in this world. Yes, I am pushing my self very hard novadays and it is the thing I must keep doing. There is no easy way to success and I must understand it very well. There are few long term goals I would like to achieve and I must work hard for it. But lets start with small things. Fit trainings are going really well if we not paying attention that I cant fell my legs at the moment :) Put this pain is some kind of good one. Talking about food it is now different than in the past I used to eat. I never thought that healthy food can effect body soo much. I fell much better every day, more focused and in the end more happy :) It is great! So not much changed, but I ll keep going!

Lets took a look into poker progress.
Guess what? I am changing format back to 45s and 180man. After a shot to STT I didnt found my self interested in this format. I think MTT is my game and I am not going to play any other format with pasion. I remember my first big win in MTT. It was 4 years back. I was playing every freeroll in the unibet and pokerstars. It was weekly freeroll at unibet for nordic countrys and it was about 7k players. Somehow I managed to finish it 16th. I won about 30$ but was very happy to be ahead of other players who was behind me :) So ya, MTT is a game I am gona to put my hard work to.

Studying progress:
I am puting a lot of time to it. But it is really hard to do it alone. I made a lot of my own hand reviews, watched all videos released this year by pokerstrategy members, and of course I am taking every single opportunity for free coachings. And Collin Moshman is doing very well with his public coachings. It would be awesome to have a private coatch, but unfortunately it is to expensive for me at the moment. As a result, today I decided to find a person to study with or i ll try to join some mtt study group.

A♣:A♣:A♣:A♣:A♣:A♣:A♣:A♣:A♣:A♣:A♣:A♣:A♣:
If someone is looking studying buddy you are looking right here!:)

Things what I am going to do next:
My schedule did not connects well with my game format. So I am going to adjust it a little. As I am living in Lithuania (it is in europa) it is much more better time to play between 4PM and 1AM because of traffic. So i think it will be much value to play between these hours and I will have some nice time to study before the game.

I was always interesting in a famous persons so let it be my blog earmark :)

Hey Vainis ,

Great to see you went ahead with your blog. If you need a sparring partner ask away. I think we are interested in the same kind of tournaments. I do believe that cash games and single table tournaments are quite one sided, every MTT is a new experience and very exciting. But I guess that's different for everyone. You still focus on 45 man SNG's? Lately I'm getting more interested in 180 man MTT's as well, only they take up so much more time.

Nice to see all those goals as well :) are you planning to learn new stuff as well? I found that the PS coachings and videos work out great for me as well.

Hey,

Definitely agree that big field MTT's offer kind of unique experience compared to cash games or sit and go's. Sometimes you just wanna kill yourself playing them, but that one odd final table and a top 3 finish, preferably, more than makes up for everything. Nice to see that you're trying hard to improve - if you keep that up and add constant volume, results have nowhere else to go but at you, sooner or later. Sėkmės, lauksim updeitų. _drink:

Hey guys!

One week pasted from my last update. In that week I have really lost in poker... After a great start at the beginning of this year things getting worst and worst. Tried everything to get it back but just going down and down. Started to study much more HuSNG and play less but after that just lost my self in all information. So after trying something different I am back at my format. I must say, I can try all kind off poker but I ll always going back to MTTs :) And it is a little bit funny, because it is so freaking hard to win big field mtt and for the person who cant deal with variance it is better to not play this format. But here I am...

I am still making my workouts and have any complaint about my life. Going to start a new job soon and feel very excited about that. Even it is not going to be a profitable one for the first year, but at the moment money isn't main thing. So fact is I have less time for poker. But i think i ll find some evenings for some mtts ;)

What i am going to play:

With a little Br of 250$ I am going to play lowest MTTs.
The Hot 0,55
The Hot 1,1
And regular MTTs from 0,55$ to 1,35$ and maybe 2,2$ if I'll have small trafic off smaller ones.

So I hope to shipp it before I go broke with my BR :)

That's good discipline there. You cannot always run good unfortunatly. ;)

Congrats on the job by the way, happy for ya. Experience is very valuable as well these days. Well I've also had a pretty sick run this week with bad luck, might have tilted me a little bit. Switched to spin & go (bad idea I know) and dropped about 1/3rd of my BR. Cashed out most of my remaining chips to keep them safe from harm. Will use them later to play live. ;)

Ah man that sucks. This is true and true indeed Yes I played a lot with friends this weekend and a little bar tournament earlier today. Tomorrow I'm gonna hit up the casino for a freeze-out 50 player tournament. Really curious how it will pan out, it won't be a new experience but I think there's some real money to be made there ;).

Will let you know how it worked out.

We are now halfway the month April.
How is it going with playing tournaments this month?

Further I wish you all the best to beat the micro stakes tournaments :gl:

Dont know where to start... :)

It was almost a year since my last update in this blog :) Shame on me, but the thing is I was out off poker and u can guess I am back :)) I think we all are adicted to this game :)
A lot of happend in a year, but i think this blog not about "things".
So my comeback to poker is a little different. As I was small field mtt grinder before, now I swiched to zoom cash format. It is because I have my own small bussines and cant afford to spend all day grinding mtts. I swiched from stars to 888 too. The only thing I hate about 888 is software. It is soo bad on Mac version :(
As former mtt grinder it took a time for me to get used to cash games. But in the end I get it. Its all about reads. U cant use any hud in snap tables but it is not a big problem than u face about 100 players in your limits. Just putting notes on every single player like old times :) By the way warming up at NL5.

So just wanted to send a word about my comeback to poker and to this awesome community :) :f_thumbsup:
