Happens :(. Just set a stop/loss to 50BB and you should be fine. Maybe take a break after a couple of bad beats to clear your mind and be able to concentrate later ;).

Yea I quit. Lost over 40 BB in 30 mins.

The day after was the same. Insta-loss.

today was good but strange.
Played about 600 hands... I was really a hitmachine... lots of sets, flopped a few straights, hit a FH etc... but it seemed like I got rivered every time!

Straights didn't win. Had set over set happen a few times.
And this one was fun:

heads-up against a tag:

me 99
flop 789: I cap
turn 6: cap
river rag: 2 BB go in

He shows ATo.

And another hand went the same. Only he had 2pair on the flop while I had a set. We both hit a FH on the river but he hits a higher one.

There's no need to get my graph from HEM. Cause it looks like this:

/\/

This month so far is also very strange. I have a very high W$SD of 53.5% but I only got 0.3 BB/100 lol. I have really lost a lot of big pots so far.

I'll be gone next week to France for business. I want to have 10000 VPP at the end of the month to cash the 160$ bonus. So I need to keep on playing about 300 hands per day in what's left of the month.

I hope I'll make it cause then my bankroll is okay again for $1/$2. It is 850 now :)

Thanks for the encouragement. I guess it helped :)

I'm at 1.26 BB/100 now after 400 more hands.

I'm also well on track to get the 160$ VPP bonus at the end of the month. So I may have a bankroll of 1500$ in a few days, which is pretty scary since a few posts below I only had 850.

It feels to me like I only started playing $1/$2 like 2 weeks ago. I'm just so new at this limit. And now I'm already halfway to reaching $2/$4 _o:

I'm only realizing now... at the beginning of the year I was still struggling at 0.25/0.50. It's a wonderful feeling! Just multiply this feeling by 5 and that must be how a Yoghi feels.

I guess luck is evening out now. It's not going so well at the moment.

I only won 21BB in the last 800 hands.

Mate, anything >= $0 is a good result! 8k - 10k hand break even stretches have been the norm for me at pretty much every limit I've played.

Dunno if you saw it, but Amirapuato had a 228k hand b/e run at $1/$2 SH. :f_o:

Anyway, keep working hard on your game and you'll continue to do well in the medium to long run!

Crap session today.

I was sitting at pretty good tables but did very bad in multiway pots. Very swingy session and I tilted after a LAG 3bet me preflop for the 30th time and hit the board. Of course I paid his turn check/raise off.

I made up for it by winning 71 BB today at just 429 hands :f_love:

I'm on such a heater it's unbelievable! My bankroll is around $1680 now and I'm running at 1.57 BB/100 after 14600 hands at $1/$2. This month has been absolutely incredible. I beat my monthly record of $177. Cause this month I made $688 :). That's without counting bonusses.

Concerning bonusses: I bought the instant $160 credit at pokerstars. I cleared the $16 bonus also.

I'm thinking of bonuswhoring a bit the following months. Maybe clearing the FDP at Everest. But I'm not so sure how much traffic there is.

If all is "normal" next month which means 1BB/100 for me, I could be playing $2/$4 in August! Let's hope all goes well because I'm a little afraid of getting a downswing after all this fast success.

Don't get too excited :)

I was running with 7.7 bb/100 for 15k hands and then...
the downswing hit;

from 2.2k (I didn't even try 2/4) --- now I have 1.7 :(

Zivkoleo have you ever realized you may be clearvoyant?

This is my session for today: -98$. I got average cards but when I hit something I always lost against something better. I had two instances of 2pair vs higher 2pair and set under set.
WTSD 39
W$SD 33

I got kinda annoyed around hand 500 and I wanted to leave cause I felt I was going to tilt. But the problem was I couldn't. I had two 55 VPIP fishes in my right at all 3 of my tables! So I kept on playing...

As you can see I had a good run in the end where I won a few showdowns :)

After all this month has been incredibly good. I just continue to improve my game and I'm curious what will happen in July :)

Here's todays graph:

And here's June.

Damn.. you played 2/4; :) How is the feeling up there ;)

Edit: btw how many tables do you play

Hehe yea I was following the dutch FL coaching and there was a complete MEGA fish at 2/4 and the coach was sitting right behind him. So when the coaching was about to end I lined up and took the fish's money

I try to have 3 good tables at all times. While I play I search for the best table in the lobby and I open it. So then I have 4 tables and after I sit down I usually close the worst table I'm sitting at.
So I usually play 3 tables and I play 4 when all my tables are good.

The last 6000 hands my non-showdown winnings have increased dramatically. I don' t know why... am I actually becoming a good player?
