Most of the time people call here if they have nuts. And obv it's bad to be only representing range which is nuts or air imo. Sure you'll get them off their air, but you can achieve same result by just calling and beting turn if checked to.

Seriously... everything sucks. I haven't hit a flop in forever. None of my sets or overpairs ever hold up. All my c-bets and bluffs fail.

I lost 750$ on NL50 so far in 8000 hands, 250$ negative overall.

I think its time I should realize I just can't play this game and cash out...

i think u misplayed hand 1. Your bet pf was standard. Your cbet on flop was also standard. When u get c/r your opponent range is 22, 55, or Maybe AJ, maybe even a bluff. I would just fold here but if u choose to call you got to c/f the turn. Watch hasenbratens video on overpairs for more info.

"Don't bluff the unbluffable"

See if the 77 guy can actually fold anything before trying to bluff him out on the river

Also, if you had anything like a FH, T or two diamonds, you would bet the turn. Your story is hard to believe on the river.

1st hand: Fold turn unless he's playing like drunk aggro donk.

2nd hand: Don't 3bet preflop unless you expect him to call with worse.
TBH i'd probably never 3bet pre oop with AJs vs UTG raiser. Because when you'll flop A and get any action you are almost never good, when you'll flop J and get action.. same as with A. Why you bet river?
You definetly don't have a flush, why'd you check fd + overs after being preflop aggressor on flop?
He won't fold anything he called with preflop here, and actually will be right to call most of the time.

Maybe I should have bet river lower... but then he might know I am value betting.

Guys whats the best to do in these situations? Shove to make him think your bluffing or bet like half pot or 2/3 like always?

Another thing is ... what about 3-betting pre-flop? If he just calls he won't bw able to put me on 88 and might just stack the flop or turn. I don't play deep very often, or atleast not this deep. So whats the best for max value?

- That river bet is hard to call even if he has an A XD. He might have a hand like TT, JJ so maybe a 1/3 - 1/2 pot bet is in order here. He might think you're scared of the A and bluff you.
- If he's aggro I would c/r river to let busted FD bluff me.
- If I were him, I wouldn't put you on a bluff after you coldcall BU pf, raise flop, bet turn and nearly pot river.

- About 3bet pf: You could watch some NL100+ videos , they do that all the time there, even with air XDD

4 handed i think you should be 3betting pre flop depending on the initial raiser's stats, flop and turn were fine think you need to be value betting river. Close to half would be ok, again it very much depends on your opponent

agree totally, I like a lot a 3bet there. you are deep , in position and raising is fun. why not?

Sadly the HH were not imported for some damn reason, but I am like 4 stacks up in 200 hands or so on NL30 HU

Just today I log on for a quicky, sit down at a table.

Villain decides to push all in over my raise pre while I have QQ.... he had Q9
Villain reloads: He limps to me while I have 35o. Flop is like A37. I bet he calls. Turn is a blank. We both check. River is a 5 and I bet out.. he pushes all-in again for like 19$ or something. I am like hmmmmm possible straight out there with 46... maybe slow play.. but oh wait he pushes a lot and he checked behind turn.. call... he shows J5 and I take it down again.

Happy that I was able to do it this time and not push or call like a maniac.
The QQ one was hard... but I did not see what I can beat. I did not put him on a set since he did not raise the flop, but I did put him on a 2-pair or straight. The board is just so connected that it fits some kind of weird Jx two pair sort of hand... he would not raise here with just a pair I think.

Flop I c-bet and get called... here I start putting him on a pp.
Turn he checks and I check behind, but again.. if he had pp here would he not bet to protect his hand? It makes no sense for the check.

Flop... ok I checked it... usually its a raise.. but I don't always raise it just because I feel like it.
Anyways flop is standard bet.
Turn I bet again and he raises me... does he have 9J? nah can't be... noone would call flop with that hand and a flush draw. So I call.
Now the river completes the flush and I block bet it... I guess to his eyes it looks like weakness, but its not.. so he pushes. Now does he have the flush? Very unlikely... who plays a flush draw like that with a raise on the turn + now his straight is also not believable anymore since he would just call a straight here I think and not push it.. hence I call and take it down.

Moral of this: If you want to represent something.... represent it over 3 streets, not on one street where it makes no more sense.

Alright so I was watching TV poker and commentator says that if you have an A HU there is like a 90% chance your opponent does not have one so I call.
I check behind flop because I don't want to get c/r since I would fold then.
Turn I call because I don't really put him on a Q yet and I got flush draw.
River I call because he bets so high..... Q nah... A hmmm maybe? but then again the 90% of him not having an A.

Overall is this bad play?
I got a 250 hand sample size of HU where I am killing it.... but no idea if I am actually doing it wrong and will soon face big losses
