Hmm... does that mean I suck?
LOL! ♦
What does that mean? I don't get it. Could you explain?

Just that you fold too much without seeing the showdown and you lose quite a lot of $$$ there.
Either that, or that you don't make the other guys fold enough
Could be either or a combination of both (most likely)
Nah, overlooked the fact you played SSS, then it's normal...
Just get back to BSS, you have more control over the game there anyway.
Well, see the above reasons than on why those differ.
Here is an earlier version of my PokerEV output some time back :
I probably fold less, raise more and bluff more, which perhaps causes me to lose a little bit in showdown equity due to called bluffs (though I call their bluff as well sometimes), but I don't have the major losses without showdown cost you do.
This is mine from my current level (it's fixed limit)
I find it shocking how at first they're pretty even and from the moment I stopped winning they my showdown winnings still go up, but my overall winnings don't. I noticed that I've been playing really bad, so it probably is a leak. I don't know how it should look in SSS though.
Yea, probably you developed a leak there ♦
I just wonder how I should close that huge gap between the red and blue line ffs ♦
Hey Yoghi, shouldn't you be trying to get rid of leaks instead of developing new ones?? ♦
Thx for the replies, I probably found one big leak in my game. I've been playing fairly OK postflop (BSS), having found and fixed a lot of mistakes. So according to what you guys said about folding a lot, probably the leak in my game is not postflop, but in the preflop game. I'm gonna reread some articles, specially the one about Tight Agressive Pre-Flop play for intermediates, adjust my game and see what happens.
Probably the SHC works fine on very low limits where players play too loose, but on NL50 (and up, of course) where the game is tighter, it just doesn't work quite that good maybe.
I am uber confused by this PokerEV program. I only fully understand that the green line is the actual profit that you made. But what exactly is the red and blue line ?
Red line : Amount you should have won on showdowns if luck was no factor (Sklansky bucks) - Combination of equity on all streets.
Blue line : Real amount of money you won on showdowns
Blue - Red : Luck factor
Blue - Green : Amount won without showdown (if positive, else lost)
So for Faye/Yoghi, they lose their money in all the hands that don't go to showdown. (gap green -> blue)
For me, I lose mine because I get unlucky at showdowns and don't win as much money as my equity's worth. (gap blue -> red)
Hm fuck , theres over 15k gap between my blue and green line over last 30k hands ♦ . Is that supposed to be a leak or something? How does the program figure out that i would have won if i hadnt folded ?Or am i misinterpreting it ?~~
Nevermind , its late and brain isnt working , i guess i figured it out. I am getting owned in hands where we reach no Showdown.
"Winning by folding" ... bah !!♦
No, the program can't figure that out.
The red and blue lines only include hands went to showdown. So it appears you lost 15000 $ in all other hands (hands you folded or were folded into you) ... there's no telling whether those were right or wrong folds.
However, it's starting to confuse myself. Why does everyone lose money in the non showdown hands and I don't (at all)
One explanation ... though I got a WTS of 24, VPIP of 22, AF3.8 and W$SD of 58 so I don't think that's it.
Perhaps I'm a better bluffer
I'm gonna look into this program and see whether I can find explanations for some variations in the graphs here to identify the leaks (not give a solution for them).
ok, although i'm no cash game player, i guess those should be quite respectable stats.
AF is a bit low though isn't it?
VPIP 22... well, I probably am playing way too tight...
AF 3.8... HA... calling station! ♦
Mine is 5.1... but maybe I'm too aggressive?
