i really hope this is standard now and not an upswing but i'm not gunna get my hopes up or anything. i feel like im getting lucky because the players are calling with complete shite but at the same time that's exactly what they are known to do... i've had my KK up against AA a few times and sucked out but at the same time im not folding KK. although i did fold it once today since there were raises and all ins all over the place - call me stupid but i thought AA was bound to be in there... which it was. im not going to keep posting graphs here until my sample size is larger but so far this month im up $20 ♦ running immensly good over 4000 hands....

ok i'm sat on a cheeky $92 after today. it was a pretty meh day today; played 2000h and only made 3BIs but im still happy 
this is my graph for this month and last month... basically i'm doing pretty well now since the 31st july. when i went away for a few days i did a fair amount of reading and thinking and came back fresh and you can see this on the graph because instead of going down it starts to go up around the 9900 hand mark so i guess that's when i started playing better. here it is:

if all goes well i am contemplating moving up to 5nl when i hit $100 or so.... i hear the games are pretty much the same so it shouldn't be tooo bad.. i'll set myself an aggressive stop-loss

lol im getting withdrawals. but i thought i could use the time to read about the game rather than read 5 mins and play for 4 hours so i guess it's okay. i was break even for 2k hands then i lost a buy in and was break even after that for another 3k hands and i was starting to tilt. my bluff cbets were getting raised, my set mining ended up in 4bet pots countless times and my strong hands were getting steamrolled by runner runners... but then again of course i would rather blame variance than my bad play...
is it normal to be pretty much card dead for 3k hands? hitting hardly anything and then having to give it up? or could it be that i'm too nitty still?
and ouch! i've just seen i've generated $22 rake! i hate how stars has no rakeback... i'm starting to think that was a bad choice at least for working my way through microstakes....
It can only help having more study time! Wish I was doing more studying instead of trolling on here

im extremely pissed off right now.... first of all i was stupid and self excluded myself (getting some good poker reading going on tho) but now i have just found out that my pokerstars link to this site has been stopped because i already have a previous account with them. i completely forgot that it even existed and it was for play money!! so now i'm stuck - i have a ftp account with $50 locked away and it is not affiliated with pokerstrategy, i have a pokerstars account with which i was very happy which is now not affiliated with pokerstrategy.... the only alternative for me now is to either go with william hill which i HATE but i used it for the $50 starting capital.... or find somewhere else. the other rooms that pokerstrategy offer arent as big as ftp and stars and i liked playing on a big well known site where traffic was high etc. and the other rooms just look shit with shitty software and shitty traffic. this is such a pain in the ass now i dont know what to do! why didn't i know about pokerstrategy before!!!
looks like i'll be playing on partypoker from now on. i will prob learn a bit of MTT strategy so i can play for fun and use pokerstars for that or something. im looking forward to playing on pp because i get a 100% deposit bonus so i'm going to clear a $10 bonus on stars when my self exclusion ends ( 
) and withdraw it so i can deposit on partypoker and bonus my way up through hardship. my intention isn't to cop out tho, my ultimate goal is to be a better player. can't wait to play poker again ♦

ah sweet. well at the mo i'm still on stars i just need to clear a bonus and then i will run with the money for the first deposit bonus. by that point i plan to be on 5NL. i'll probably even be short stacking at first to burst my way into the limit and have a bit of a cushion. i'll pm you with my username when i switch over
