i seeee. well i've realised winrates are nearly meaningless at the level we are at because its more about the learning. if you spend 30k hands trying to iprove and plug leaks, your 30k hands can't really count as a sample. i think i might start mixing in one or 2 tables of 4nl.... are you part of the new BSS school?

i like how he was destined to get stacked with his hand.. unless miracle K comes along. have to admit i did do a little bit of sick in my mouth when i saw the spade but told myself i cant jump to conclusions like that! happy with my play this evening. i did 6 of the quizzes before playing and it definitely has made me think more about my play. thinking about what worse hands call etc and this is definitely one of the things i need to think about more.

okay i have some goals that i have set myself for this month. i need to stop being worried about losing my roll - thats what brm is for afterall. i am now at 4nl on partypoker, br = $104 ($11 bonus coming in soon as well).

today went pretty well - i managed to claim back most of my loss from the previous session. besides this, i have spent most of my day thinking about various hands and reviewing the hands from the last session in which i lose 20BB+. i will keep doing this and eventually i should spot some problematic patterns. i understand the importance of reviewing my winning hands as well, however i think if i keep it simple and just review the losing hands my mistakes will start to emerge and be plugged at least a little bit.
so today i reviewed 8 of the hands from last night's sesh and on like 6 of them i lost because i couldn't bring myself to press that fold button. moral of the story: i need to learn to fold 
i've posted a fair few hands in the hand evaluation forum and i have been using the equilab a lot today - it is amazing ♦ just playing around with various hands and ranges etc.
finally, just finished watching the video crushing NL50 - very interesting stuff especially about isolation and stealing. i have definitely taken some useful info away from it. roll on lesson 3 of BSS school ♦
will try and get in a nice long session tomorrow although i must go to the gym for once in my life...
down 2 BIs... officially underrolled for 4nl yet again.
an ongoing problem i have is figuring out...
when i can bet/raise for value because enough worse hands will call.
when i have showdown value and should check/fold
when i have fold equity and should bet
this is really affecting my post flop game specifically. im going to go over all of the post flop articles tomorrow before i play.
also will probably start reading NL Holdem Theory & Practice by Sklansky.
