Hi Everybody,

I am one of the exHungarian forum. I want to follow my onw jounrey and I decided to continue here. I'm a 42 years old veteran. I've played CG and HUSNG before for almost 10 years. I was not the best, but i was kinda hard worker. After that I went to the university and I did MA degree of Counselling and School Psychology. I haven't worked officially in this field, because I moved to Austria and I started to work as a flight attendant.
Last year I had more time during the Winter, so I went back to the tables, but this time I started to play PLO. At the moment I reached the BE on GG PLO10 rush tables, so because of the bonuses I have some extra.
The harsh truth:

The summer season in aviation is close to the end, and I hope I will have a bit more time to study and play. Also I want to put more effort my psychology carreer. I've already started to build some "selfbrand". Hopefully in the next year I can start my own counselling psychology business. Will see.

Questionable play, but it earned 16BI because of the BBJ. I shot 25 on the weekend again. _drink:

Wow, that is an interesting aspect of the EV calculation. Checking for the opponent to catch up on the quads.
But honestly, who does he get calls from on the flop anyways? The best holding you will have is probably a lower overpair + FD, because many higher pairs will have 3b pre.
A counter argument to not slowplay for villain would be that anyone with a monster draw would not fold anyways, unless it is runner runner like in your case.

Congratz!

I actually think it makes sense, hoping other player will bluff the four-flush, or maybe even hold the A♦: or other high diamond.

Congrats on the BBJ!

Paired board, people shouldn't do Ad bluffs a lot, even in PLO10. Flop check with low SPR is fine, but when he checks turn he is missing a lot of value in the long run. But when someone plays high rake games with 30bb, it's a good indicator that he is not playing the game from mathematical approach. :)

How much the opponent got from BBJ?

55BI, so that was the most profitable decision by him in short run :)

Hey!

I am here with the September's recap. Nothing special. I couldn't play as much as I wanted, I couldn't play as good as I wanted.
The black and white reality:

I played mostly rush PLO10. I had just really limited time to sit and grind more on normal tables. Unfortunately, the company surprised me some really long unplanned flights and usually I needed 1 day to recover after that. Work, private life, gym, study, poker. Not so easy to find the balance :)
In October I would like to improve the quality and the quantity too. More reg tables and more hands on PLO25.

Hey

After more then 1 week finally I had time to play. I was motivated, but I did some mistakes. First - I played when I was tired, second - I tried to play 3 rush tables, third - I haven't stop and switched back on time.
It didn't go well...

Plus I ran like hellbad

I couldn't win enough major pots. This is part of the game, but disappointing when you have finally time and after that just smash the variance (and of course the bad play)

Habidere everybody,

Here are the results from October:

It looks bad... because its bad. I couldn't play as much as I wanted and also when I played the quality was also bad. The study time was bad, the focus was bad and Michael Jackson sang also a song Bad.
The good part:
I played much more on the normal tables and I can say that those tables are much softer the rush. A lot of 3-4 way pots so I became really passive and even more conservative than I was before. In this month I want to adapt these tables better and I want to find the optimal amount of tables.
Go back to the study and the better quality of play. The password for November: F0cu$

Hi Poker Players,

Time to recap of November.
Pure result:

I played ok in November, but that was swingy again. I spent more time with study and talk about situations. I had a good upswing and that time I started to play on plo25 too. I have won some BI-s, but the next couple of days I was more tired and unfocused, so I stepped back. AAAAnd I started to loose really hard. I switched to regular tables this time, because I had more free time to play, but the tendecy was the same. I think the field is much much better at regtables. In December the plan to stay on reg tables and hopefully the run turns and the invested work will pay off.
I think I will do weekly recaps to follow a bit better the process. Maybe I can see some good and bad patterns too.

Hi Guys,

End of December and end of the year. Well, in my previous post I wanted to do recap in every week. Spoiler - I didn't do.
But we are here and let's take a look to December's result:

Ususal stuffs, 10-20BI ups and downs. I want to be consistent, but not this way :) Yesterday after work I took a shot in the drunken field and it was quiet good. Unfortunately I was really tired and I fell asleep around 23:00 :D :D

The 2025 was not my best year. I played almost only plo and I won around 1.7k, but this is only rb.
Full year:

This sample is big enough to say that I couldn't beat the plo10 field, the reasons are complex, but mainly the lack of studies, dedication, focus are the main points. In other hand I could beat the high rake, wich is something and thanks to the rb I made at least some profit.
I will think about that how do I want to continue. I don't have that plan to go back to professional status, so what I want a stable 1k profit per month as a side hustle for 2026. I want to build the system to myself for this. gL and happy new year to everyone!_drink::spade::heart::diamond::club:_drink::gl:
