PT4 is pure awesomeness, go ahead and add the Omaha part on! (You'll have to buy it off the bat because the Omaha trial can't be used if 10 days have passed since the start of the Holdem trial, and vice versa.)

Most 6-max PLO regs on iPoker are bad at HU, but smart enough to refuse HU action. Given the insane variance of PLO HU (the std dev of 100 hands is easily over 200-250 bb), it could be a heater, but maybe not, collect a sample and see.

I think one of the key things to work on in PLO HU is donkbetting. It's important in NLHE HU too, but here one can construct a more balanced donking range.

I'll share a bit of insider information and advise to stick to HU in February unless you learn to own the two biggest grinders of 6-max PLO50 (the ones with the king and baseballer avatars; that's easy to some but I'm so braindead that can't do that) because the king's room Paddy Power is holding Iron Man VII in February, and I guess the baseballer's room Betfair will be holding Natural Born Grinders as usual, and due to the nature of a specific last-longer prop bet they're going to be in, I'm sure they're going to play at least 1500 hands of PLO each every single day.

(I'm hesitant about joining that bet, need to think it through - it can harm my jackpot volume and possibly strip me of a top place in Paddy's tourney championship. The bet is rather exclusive and we don't want additional people there, sorry.)

@Skojj thx mate, yeah poker can ne weird sometimes, probably I can concentrate better on all these cards better when playing HU PLO, yesterday one reg asked me to open 2nd table too: I was like don't be crazy LOL.

@tony Hi bud, thx, Yeah i will end up buying omaha part of PT4 probably , thx for extra advice though. I am aware of bih variance in PLO HU, and I thought also that Im ln some sort of fish heater first 8-10 matches, but this continues.. and I feel stronger at these matches every time I play. Yeah, I noticed that rega tend to donk bet- I still didn't adopt that tactic but I will learn about it. Also, thx for the info on SH plaErs, yeah i noticed these two guys you mentioned- I noticed they are top regs there (I actually stacked this king in last session- he's pretty good and aggressive). All in all, let's hope I'm not at some insane heater, but even if i am, I will realize it an stop on time- I'm pretty realistic inthese situations.

I really don't feel good playing speed today, can0t concentrate, so i wanted to play some HU: but apparently there are no regs with balls at ipoker, every single one of them sat out after some short time:

So, I didn't find any action, until NL1k, but I played only one session of 60 mins there bcs it's really high for my experience, I actually ended up 700$ up, but I couldn't continue with 2nd session bcs I don't feel relaxed when playing. But, I must say I played one very nice guy, also great player, so I met someone new that's good. He also asked me to stay for 20 mins more when i won big pot, and I did it.. so not- I wasn't HNR fish don't worry it was gg.

Now, I'm waiting at NL200 hopefully will get some action.

^going to play PLO100 HU, NLH HU regs dissapointed me.

Nah that's FDB, every time I clear a chunk i got a message, I can't delete it that fast bcs at ipoker these are 2$ chunks.

btw I'm thinking of spending at least one month playing PLO HU exclusively to get volume and see where that will take me because it's not all about the money, andI like new challenges. I'm just very annoyed with these bumhunters. Yesterday one of them succeded to stack me in the very beginning of the match (NL200 HU he got flush otr and I was air over betting that dlush otr never mind)) and he immediatelly asked me if I want to play more tables, when I said ok sure, he sat out. LOOOL I was so pissed that I remembered his SN, hnr fishregs can't stand them, that's the only reason I don't like HU. However PLO HU gets little action so regs don't sit out that often- that's good. I will comd back to you guys when I drcide what will I play in Feb. Later buds!

Well, at Everest bonus chunks are as small as $0.50 :f_tongue:, but there are no notifications in 'My Poker', and the pop-up message is turned off easily.

However, at Paddy, the pop-up can't be turned off and appears every €27 of rake That said, I cba to write an AHK suppressing it as the bonus will be gone in no time

Hi guys, I'm known for my crazy decisions and some would say idiotic ideas, so I decide not to change that and do something pretty extreme.

I am cashing out my complete bankroll- leaving just $100 and starting PLO HU. The reasons for this dramatic act are these:

- Honestly, I don't live from poker and I don't need exact winnings every month

- recently I feel bored playing 4-6 tables of speed poker and I don't enjoy it

- I have played PLO HU to refresh and have fun, but with some time I started thinking more and more about PLO HU, and just waiting to finish my NLH session to play it, which resulted in lack of motivation and playing C- play at NLH speed tables.

- Then I stopped the session, took today a day off, and becom honest with myself; I don't want to play poker if I don't have fun while playing it.

- So, I needed some challenge to make it fun.

:diamond:Challenge is this: I will play PLO HU, and I will start playing it where every true poker player should do: at the bottom. Yes! I will be playinf 0.01/0.02 games for next couple of days! Hopefully not too long haha. I already edited my OP, but I will say this here too: I will play by very aggressive BM and go up in levels as quick as possible: so every time I have 20 bi's for the next level I go up (I will start with 100 bucks so this rule doesn't apply at first level- I will go up with 130-140 bucks to PLO5, and continue to PLO10 with 200-220 bucks- this rule for moving up is flexible I will sometimes prolong it to 25-30 bi's). So, I am pretty serious about this challenge, and I want to prove you guys how much you can do in short period of serious work and will to learn. Yes, I'm going up to PLO1k and I'm not kidding.

Some of you will say that I'm stupid to do this, some of you would laugh at me, but hopefully some of you will also support me and follow my challenge. I will as usual post some week graphs, and daily some interesting hands. Also, I'm buying PT4 omaha, and starting this challenge officially on Monday I believe. I will continue playing on ipoker bcs at stars there are no HU tables below PLO50, later on due to traffic I will move to stars when I reach PLO50. That's all for now. GL at the tables guys.

PS Oh yeah, there is one thing I need to say, I will probably play every month (last few days) some NLH100 speed to mantain diamond or at least platinum status here so I can watch videos and all these great stuff i have unlocked when higher status).

One thing though, isn't the rake at HU huge at micros? I honestly don't really know if it's the same for PLO, but I've heard that rake is huge at micros for HU NLHE so that might be worth thinking about

I thought about that, but I think that player pool would consist of people who doesn't know some basics of PLO at PLO2 so it should not be a problem to stack them off in 20-30 hands haha, also I believe that I will go to PLO25 IN really short period. Also, if rake will be really that ridiculous I can always jump directly to PLO25 or 50. (I just wanted to have some epic challenge and it's more epic PLO2 to PLO1k than PLO100 to PLO1k, isn't it?

Fwiw, I'm totally fine with you / us starting low - I'm not afraid of rake :f_cool:, I'm only afraid of a slow pace of earning loyalty points per table-hour :f_tongue:, but that's not so dramatic as my main objective when playing cash will be to rack raked hands.

(Don't worry, I suck HU so we'll be moving up limits as I lose more and more to you.)

thx for the support mate, I'm just downloading PT4 for omaha, so I maybe even start my first session at PLO2 now I'm excited man- you see I wasn't that excited when I played NLH1k HU yesterday LOL- I'm new man I feel like a child go go go PLOOO

Guys, one little change, apparently there are no PLO2 HU tables at ipoker, or I can't find them at least, there are PLO4 however, so we start at PLO 4 I will edit OP and title of the thread too, it's even better to start at PLO4€ bcs with 100 bucks we are immediately at 20 bi's rule.

But One question. Aren't you clearing a FDB? I mean it's stupid to do this during the FDB. Rather clear that first and then do the challenge.
