Hey guys
been a while since i updated here

Had internet issues then power issues due to rain and also traveling a lot so havent really played much

Started grinding again from yesterday and had a really good day, well COULD have been a really good day

2 final 2 table runs ins 27TKO and 3.3r then stars gives me QQ and KK to be busted by Ax both the times hurt a lot in the 3.3r it was AJ vs QQ for 2nd spot stack with 18 left

Still happy how i played hope to bink something soon :)

On a side note i tried playing some STTs and 45 man SNGs and it was so damn fishy then when i quit them
Think ill play STTs and SNGs till sunday till the stars promo is going on

hey abhi,

I heard ROI of STT, 45-man, 180 is effectively same but variance is lot in 180, 45-man. I just want to know if ROI is same and we finish tournament much early why not stick to STT then increase our variance by playing 45-man and 180-man or probably play only 45-man.

Just needed insight.

I dont think your statement is correct.

STT roi's are only about 5-8%. With 45 mans, you can make about 25-30. I'm guessing 180s should be higher than that.

alphabet is right

The only benefit about STTs is it is easy to mass multi table and can produce more hourly but roi above 8% is quite impossible over a large sample
And now a days 15$ MTTs is completely reg infested if you can sustain 3-4% ROI that will be pretty good

180 mans are also reg infested and more like stable wars 60% of the players are backed
the 3.5r is quite softish though

45 mans are super soft and loads of fishes still exist, probably the softest sng variant at the moment on stars i feel

Do you think it will hold good in the long run due to variance in 45's and 180's.

45s yes very soft
180s i know lot of people are really good
A lot of it is complicated math which most regs dont understand and if you follow it to the core yes you can beat it in the long run
I myself wasnt aware of this particular maths but a semi pro Indian player ( Saby ) helped me understand the maths behind it and trust me you can beat it if you understand the maths as most people which included me as well still follow the pot odds and BB method which is not the correct way to go

Hello Abhi,

Just started playing rush sngs on ftp, and having decent results at the lowest stakes. Want to learn more before moving up.

The usual field is about 180-200. Do you think 180 man strategy would work well there?

Could you help me with some of this math you talk about? I tend to make a lot of mistakes when deep stacked, since I have been playing only 45 mans so far, where we almost never are above 15-20 bb late game.

I am pretty sure if the rush is a turbo format the strategy should work
Though i am not the best person for 180s as i rarely played them

I can for sure talk with you about the maths

The most common problem with even good regs is playing a 20-35BB stack when deep i also had the same problem but there

Any idea who's good for 45's and 180's, though i am watching few video's about them, looks like hands-on coach should be helpful.

Also math you were talking about, You mind sharing?

What limit you are playing? How many games you playing?

Are you playing 3.3r 180's turbo? or just 180-man turbo?
