What's up guys? Had a great Christmas Eve with family/friends/girl(s) ??
Unfortunately I played mini-session the first Christmas day, I ended down 30 blinds because of Monster Draws that didn't hit. So I shut down my PC, went with a real moody head to my car and headed towards my Family.. great start Gerv lol...

I seriously had it with Elephant due it's enormous desire for CPU-Food so I thought well it is either Poker Tracker or HEM. I cut the cord by purchasing HEM for the sole purpose that I know more people that use them so I can grab those HUD configs from them instead of experimenting.

As I am writing now, I am currently importing all hands to HEM again and slowly switching to it. I will use this evening to import as much as I can (Including Night). With HEM purchased, I am able to see more Villains through my Telescope and exploit weaker tables whilst I leave the nitty tables for what it is.

I still have to figure out tons of things on HEM , looks like Photoshop/Vegas Pro: Tons and Tons of Things to edit etc. ♦

I should have reraised on the Flop but that would have been a shove more or less, I didnt liked it well my Gut told me just to call... ♠

The money that I won/lost were destined to be suckouts rather than obvious hands (AA>KK or AKvsTT etc.) I think that I need a strong belly/stomach for this adventure.

When having that said, I am nowhere stabilized yet on NL100 of which I see as a Basic Limit for Advanced SSS. In the coming days, I will be spending my hours learning more things and importing my database to the old good HEM. So the blog posts I make after this are not as frequent as it used to be.

imo it's a brag... the only way I would enjoy loosing with AA is against another AA

The last day of 2008! Still I am importing my hands, getting my HUD sorted out and stuff for my table plays. However I did not forgot you , readers

Yesterday I had a sort of small LAN with my friends playing all kinds of games. Games like Warcraft 3; FT, Call of Duty, Age of Empire 2, Some Unreal Tournament were all played. It was fun but exhausting ♦

I went to bed at 5 AM and woke up at 1 PM but I quickly drank some RedBull instead of some coffee, hihi Im an Addict

I want to dedicate this post more or less to what I have achieved from June '08 till now and what I want to achieve in the year Two-Thousand-And-Nine.

I managed to hook up very quickly with some experienced shortstackers like Leo258, KeesAZ, Sreteb and DeKuip (=TheCube) to discuss my nooby questions back that time.

I played NL10 from the start of June '08 on PartyPoker till August '08. I made $75 from my SSS plays (750 big blinds) and I cleared the $50+$100 bonus.

August was a fluke on Titan Poker with 40% rakeback Managing with only 50 euro on that account (like $65) on NL20 to grind it up to 120 euro at some point which is $156 on NL20 Titan Poker only. However I quickly lost some buyins in which I quitted TitanPoker for it's Tight tables with only 100 euro left.

Back on PartyPoker on NL25, I had issues with Scared Money but Leo managed to help me coping with this. I owe him so much From this moment you can read the first page I think to see how it went.

-Recapping the past

I managed to play SSS up to NL100 in which I am playing right now. From merely $50, I managed to increase my BR with $950 to around $1k by playing MTTs,SSS and other things.

Ofcourse I gained a lot of experience and increased my knowledge by studying/discussing things with other players. I became HandJudge on the 25th of November and I am still very proud that I can judge hands of other players and help them. Sometimes I am completely wrong with my verdict compared to Ingol/Ysessa's but hey I am still learning and sometimes Isee something from a different perspective

I became Coach for the Dutch Communtiy since Mid-December. As an Addition I took the Opportunity to coach some English Bronze coachings with confidence with both Fabian (Xarry2) & Max (IngolGreenPeacePoker). I really enjoyed these experiences and I learned a lot from them so I am being thankful to Soy and the others that I could coach these coachings

A New Years Resolution is not without setting goals for 2009, these are mine!

* Stabilizing on NL100 in January

* Start looking at SSS-ShortHanded by the end of November/December '09

I think that these goals are reachable and realistic if I maintain what I am doing now. As for now, if you want to know something , feel free to reply here !

* Then fill the rest(=75% of the longdrink glass) with 75% of Soft EnergyDrink (RedBull/Bullit/V energy/Rockstar) and 25% with Lemon Soda for the bubbles.

So with a 250cl longdrink:
60cl of Blue Curacao
125cl of EnergyDrink (1/2 can of 250 ml)
Fill the rest up with LemonSoda (7up)

It looks like a green and poisoned drink but its damn tasy! ♦

I know BSS FR/SH is far more profitable but I want to have a look at SSS-SH. Otherwise I will just play BSS FR because that's the least variance gametype. I already know where I am going to play BSS FR then as in Platform
