[x] A new Era.

I sent off an email to Mansion telling them it is a pure scam that they don't credit me the necessary 400 points to get me Elite. Now they surely miss $3000 in rake from me but I couldn't care less, do I ? :]

As the title says, I like to move forward but still use a split-second to review the month April. I think April gave me much warmth, strength and motivation although SSS'ing in the end didnt went as the way I wanted!

SSS'in on Mansion/iPoker went allright and I grinded the necessary amounts to buy some more clothes and that was my one of my goals :)

Furthermore I won FOURTEEN stacks yesterday during my NL10 SSS Bronze Coaching, wicked sick :P Oh and I won $30 by BSS NL10 as well.

To make an end calculation I show you the graphs + the amount of bonus I got from Platforms;

--> NL50 Mansion SSS

Real Winrate: +$308.14
Starting Capital: +$150
Cleared First Deposit Bonus: +$240
Total profit of Mansion: +$698.14

--> NL10 Pokerstars BSS

Total profit of PokerStars: +$30.6

--> NL50 iPoker Skin SSS

Real Winrate: +$59.9
Cleared Bonus: +$80
Total profit of iPoker skin: +$139.9

--> NL100 FTP SSS

Real Winrate: +$362.65
Cleared Bonus: +$460
Rakeback: +$132.19
Total profit of FullTilt: +$954.84

Total Profit of April SSS'ing:
+$1823.48*

*I spent like 1/3 already on clothing

Now I found April a good month :) moreover I have to continue studying for NL200 SSS where I start playing with a 75 BI BRM + a solid database (>1.3 Mirrion hands right Kingdippy :P!)

This is going to be done by:
1* Finding things I have difficulties with and looking up extra information
2* Improve Mathematics (I remember the formula FE*P + EQ*DM+ES*(1-FE) -- (1-EQ)*ES by heart but now I have to remember the numbers as well)
3* Watch videos at CardRunners to improve BSS/SSS FR because:

Your account has been upgraded for 3 Weeks at CardRunners!

4* Coachings! Xarry's Advanced Coaching, a Public Private with Leo258 coming Tuesday and a Private Coaching with Ingolpoker :]!
5* Maybe I'm looking for a sweat partner who also play Nl100/Nl200 SSS, I know some of the sample hand but they also play on FTP :P
6* Improve BSS a bit by theory + coachings/vids

As I withdrew all my money on Mansion until further notice, I am importing >3.3 Million hands on NL50 9-max to grind for the reload bonus.

If you are interested in those hands then just PM me I offer them more cheaper than any vendor (eg. hhdealer.com)

As the sun shines, I do something outside like chilling & brainstorming about RaisyDaisy.

For now take care and let me know how your April Month went in your blogs. If you don't have a blog.. shame on you! You can reply here to say how your month went ;)

Sincerely,
Gerv !

[x] Research & Development.

Playing some BSS afternoon, some SSS in the evening but where is the learning coming from nowadays?

Learning can be seen from 2 ways: Either School or Poker...

May is kind of a busy month but still Poker is being involved. Whether it is midstakes or some lowstakes, I still have to entertain myself somehow someway :)

Dedicated to this post is another way of improving my SSS, instead of learning Theory. Why not analyse another Shortie's play who is playing profitably on my limit for 500k hands already :)

As some NL200 Regs I know from 2+2 are whining about him, why shouldn't I analyze his game and incorporate some things in my game ? He is more aggressive than me, maybe a little bit more selective but héy that's up to me to find out how he plays as Google showed me Nothing, náda where he resorts.

Moreover tomorrow I will do a Private coaching with Ingolpoker and if Leo is still not drunk from his Vodka Party (as I heard from RobbieV) he is going to watch me play with a PPC for the Dutch Community.

I already spoiled the fun with the notable hands of yesterday. I played a short session in my opinion but still worth 300 FTPs for Ironman for example.

Seems like the Thrill of Poker: Adrenaline is really pumping up but 374 hands per hour , what the f*ck..

:: Looking for Sweatpartner

Another part of my re-organizing project is that I look another SS-player who plays on NL100 - NL400 and wants to share Strategy and thoughts with me

I know some who play on NL400, NL100 so if you are also eager to improve, add me on Skype (gervified) and we can have a nice chat and see how it goes!

I am pretty sure we both benefit since I benefited a lot when Georgi watched my back and I am pretty sure it was vice-versa _biggrin:

Tomorrow is my first exam and I expect to get an average grade, although I give it my best!

For now I will play a thrilling session on NL200, getting used to the raise-sizes in order to maintain my aggressive game!

Thanks for reading & looking forward to replies,

Gerv

Blazing on the road, Mansion still didnt decided to reply. Guess I play for like 8k MCPs this month to purchase a RayBan and still clear some moniez since it is mostly easy to play on NL50 iPoker as a SSplayer :)

Well now I want to make this post quite short short since I just played 400 hands on NL200 which has to increase somehow someway without reducing my WR. Sometimes I just have to focus on one table and think about it.

While NL200 is far from 3rd level thinking, I sometimes has to think about moments where Pushing or Folding is appropriate. Also I table select like a nit but that's the way it just is as a Shortstacker :)

The graph of today was okay, I posed Sample hands on the English forum!
Clicking on the picture will maximize it in another window _rolleyes:

With only <400 hands played, I already got the necessary points for Ironman but from myself, I like to play some more on NL200 but I think I don't rush things as I am not yet comfortable enough on my new limit.

However I didn't felt like that yesterday evening, I smiled, had fun while listening to music so there is some improvement seen in me =)

Another hand that made me cheering was this one:

No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (9 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop | saw showdown

Button ($40)
SB ($43.70)
BB ($40)
UTG ($136.95)
UTG+1 ($100)
Hero (MP1) ($40)
MP2 ($242.95)
MP3 ($140.90)
CO ($42)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K, K
2 folds, Hero bets $7, 4 folds, SB raises $22, 1 fold, Hero raises $33 (All-In), SB calls $17

Flop: ($82) 3, 7, 4 (2 players, 1 all-in)

Turn: ($82) 10 (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($82) A (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $82

Results:
SB had K, K (one pair, Kings).
Hero had K, K (flush, Ace high).
Outcome: Hero won $79

On NL200, rake is starting to kick but as this is capped at $3, I think I will have to notice it a little bit less since a $80 pot is $4 rake but capped at $3!

Furthermore I got a private coaching tonight with Maximilian, Wildbeans contacted me concerning the sweatpartner-thing. Leo258 is ill due his Vodka addiction so the PPC is not tomorrow but next week unfortunately..

Moreover, Friday I cannot do the coaching since I have Prom :f_cool: and there is a casino (playmoney though) available as well. No poker though only blackjack and roulette as far as I heard ;(

I catch you guys later, thanks for reading.
Any questions/replies are appreciated so ;)

Hello Gerv,
How does one who plays SSS at NL10 table select?

Hi Ken!

On Stars you have the Plrs/Flop% which says how many players are seeing the flop. Based on this, one can see that the higher the %, the more players go and see a flop. This way (short-term <15 min.) you can table select accordingly to this percentage.

Moreover a large pot with a high plrs/flop is a big bonus.

Keep in mind that after some time, you have to check your own tables whether they still have this percentage.

Mostly I seek tables for 20% Plrs/flop and higher on Stars ;)

I hope this answer your question.
